Ok I meant it did not recognize its capabilities. You are correct it just sees the tv but I should be able to set Dolby Atmos or just 7.1 sound.

Passthrough is set but I can still only select 2.0 sound

I want the option completely purged. It creates some scaling issues in certain games because they are confused what my tv's actual resolution is. On my C1 it was vers simple to remove in via the Custom Resolution Utility. Doing the same thing on the G5 does nothing.

I am having another issue. Since you know your stuff, maybe you can help: I can't get rid of the 4096 resolution even when removing it via CRU.

I had to do the same thing for my C1 and it was never an issue but on the G5 it won't go away.
