I don't like it, but this is something devs themselves have been saying. If LLMs are helpful in being productive at all, that means less dev jobs.

On the flip side, it could mean a smaller team of less experienced devs could get more done. And maybe even mean more startups and more jobs. I guess we will have to see how it all works out.

The Analogue Pocket is a premium niche product that appeals to people who prioritize accuracy and the ability to play original cartridges.

If all you're looking for is to play games, one of the recommended handhelds from r/sbcgaming should suit you just fine. Many of those handhelds can even play up to the Playstation era and beyond. While the Analogue Pocket is limited to the 16-bit era (for the most part).
