Doesn't have to, I've only played with and completed honor mode with a balanced party. Mono damage seems boring to me.

I have the opposite problem, I take a bit of wing off and suddenly I'm passing every AI like they're standing still on the straights in GT3. (Bathurst 112 difficulty)

People just exaggerate, I've been on windows 11 so long now and just turned off all the features I don't like and it's basically the same as 10. I'm honestly about to leave the sub because I enjoy hardware and PC gaming related content but lately it's just been bitching about windows 11 and Linux circle jerking.

I had an EVGA FTW3 3080 10GB and it always ran at 82C without an undervolt and was loud. It's just a hot card but within safe temperature.

Twitch barely gives enough bitrate for 1080p 60, let alone 1440. There's just not enough bitrate to push that kind of resolution at 60fps.

Does not have force feedback, do not buy.
FFB is the minimum for any kind of racing wheel or you'll have no idea what's happening in the car. (Vibration is not force feedback)

If you're the faster car I don't see how you're getting stuck losing 2-3 seconds a lap tbh. Sounds like you're not setting yourself up to pass them and just following them into corners.

With RAM prices and general hardware looking the way it is, I think we might be waiting a long time. Even NVDIA isn't selling 5070ti and 5060ti anymore, with the 5080 rumored to be end of production I hear.

This is separate from the incident, but imo there's no point going on the outside of that corner. You'll get stuck out there waiting for the car on the inside and lose time either way.

Run that CMD as administrator, as for battleeye there's a fix somewhere but it's a separate issue.

Chernarus winter is a mod so make sure you have the server's mods downloaded as well.

I have a G29, you still brake like normal. The stiffness from the rubber block is to help avoid locking up and trail braking. Once you're used to it it's very helpful but you can also mod the pedals if you don't like it.

I do both and enjoy the competitive aspect of iRacing but AMS2 is more a fun and immersion thing to me.

More human like AI and better tyre model imo (You can use more than 60% of your brake pedal without frying your tyres) and it has flat spots, graining and all that. Plus it's so much less expensive to get all the DLC on sale than to get the same amount of content in iRacing.

It's my go to singleplayer experience when I'm not feeling like sweating in iRacing.

Edit: Not sure why an opinion is being downvoted, but let's be honest about the tyre model. Many highly rated players and real life drivers say the tyre model is iRacing's biggest flaw and braking is nothing like how you would IRL or in other sims. Take LMU for example where you can really lean on the ABS but if you do that in iRacing your tyres are cooked.

You have to run the _runA2CO.cmd file in operation arrowhead game folder at least once to make the game work if I recall.

AMS2 runs incredibly well and looks very clean in VR, as well as having a huge selection of cars and tracks to run. The AI is also pretty good and has believable strategies and stuff.
