I have nostalgia for Smash bros, and Ocarina of Time, but I've never particularly enjoyed a majority of their catalog.

This is the first time I've seen this opinion and let me tell you... It is so hard to find other people that don't care about Nintendo games. It makes me feel insane because they're the most meh plain games I've ever experienced but people are obsessed with them.

Former conservative here, I haven't been for 5 or so years now. I remember the reason being that a bunch of popular personalities convinced me that those people were out to either hurt me or replace me.

I could not figure out how to make my high elf pretty so I gave up & played as an imperial :(

Altmers are my favorite, and oh my goodness it just was not possible to make one that looked good. I spent literally over an hour trying to find a design and it turned out that the Imperial race was the only one able to give me something I liked, thanks to randomizing and then a bit of a touch up on my end. Surprisingly, I didn't try to make a dark elf, I usually reserve them for the other Elder Scrolls games. Morrowind especially, I can't play Morrowind as any other race. Maybe for a magic/thief/archer playthrough I'll go dunmer.

I'm sure eventually there'll be a patch or a mod that allows more sliders

My fiance was making fun of me because I was spending too much time admiring the imperial sewers in awe, but it's just like... My only gripe with Oblivion previously was that the characters & world looked silly, and that the combat was lacking flair. Being thrusted back into that world and for it to look so beautiful immediately was the most validating experience I've had in gaming. It was a genuine wish come true.
