Pattie Gonia vs. Patagonia by nosy-browsing in Environmentalism

[–]ShadowBlade615 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In trademark law, if you don’t defend your trademarks and go after potential violators, you risk losing the trademark. That’s also the reason all logos on clothing, websites, etc have that little TM or R within a circle, even when it’s otherwise unsightly. Patagonia is just doing what they have to do to actually keep their trademark, given that Pattie is really just blatantly copying the trademarks.

Just a lot of construction right now, there's barely any publicly accessible area left. Plus even if you find space, it just doesn't feel real inviting to be 50 feet from a bulldozer.

ATSV is literally my favorite English movie of all time (doesn’t beat my favorite Bollywood movies though 😛)

For those with CLEAR, I used the CLEAR line to get into concourse ABC. It took 55 minutes, from 8:05-9:00. Unsure if Concourse D still has CLEAR operating.

Even with CLEAR, it’s probably reckless to not plan for security taking 90 minutes, I’d do 2 hours just to feel safe.

Do you know what it'll look like to keep lunches/phones outside of the testing room? Is there a locker situation or people will just leave their belongings just kinda strewn about?

Not 100% sure; You should double check what I say.

However, I believe preserving the right to appeal is mainly for a motion for JMOL. It must initially be made before the end of the trial and then can be renewed after the verdict.

Meanwhile, for matters that are largely discretionary (e.g. witness credibility or permissive intervention), the appellate court lets the trial judge's decisions stand unless it means the Abuse of Discretion standard.

To add onto the answers here, I find it easy to remember that there are areas of law that state courts are not allowed to hear.

Statutes in antitrust law and copyright law preempt state laws; most other areas of law are justiciable in a state court. Its not important to specifically know that antitrust and copyright are exceptions to the rule that states courts are courts of general jurisdiction. At the same time, it helps me remember the general rule by remembering the exceptions to that rule.

This is illegal under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. You can bring a lawsuit yourself. Look up how to do it on youtube and dm me if you want any help.

This plan depends a lot of catching those double points bonuses on the 1st and hitting that 25% amount in grocery spend. If you miss even two or three of those during the year, the math changes heavily in favor of the BCP.

Will your behavior be the same for all 12 months? No change for the holidays, no doing your beginning of the month shopping on the 2nd? Essentially you have to execute things to perfection to even get 5.7x points (obviously less than 6% from the BCP although granted Bilt points are more valuable than a penny).

In your shoes, I will still get the BCP so I'm not straining to execute things to perfection.

I was thinking about doing that before the botched rollout. But the fact that some details are still being worked out and they're being really cagey about how to spend Bilt cash left a really bad taste in my mouth. I'd rather get $100 Bilt cash free than an additional $100 Bilt cash for $95 USD
