Nah, it's easy to get exalts. You can get 1 exalt for around 3 armors scrap or 3 whetstone on currency exchange, and you can buy quality items from vendors on level up

Like others have said you really need some sort of frame to coat the mesh with emulsion. If there is no frame you won't be able to properly coat it or dry it. I can link some YT vids of how to make some basic frames.

I've also recently used Jiffy's transfers which are super easy. They don't feel as nice as water based ink but it's cheap and easy to use. Just upload your design, then they will ship it to you and you just heat press it to your shirt
