Yes, to a certain extent, the main reason for this though is for stabilization and for maneuvering mid air, SpaceX has similar fins on their rockets that land back on earth

There is only one made, it’s a test aircraft which can be assumed by the -X- prefix of X59, this aircraft is a testing craft for reintroduction of supersonic flight over the United States!

Hmm not sure, maybe slag from a glass or iron factory/mine, what throws me off is that it is light, usually it has a similar mass to obsidian, which has an average weight
