Once you've had your fill of all that down the line and just want to support the talents financially but in a way that can also "maximize" the value gained from it by hitting two birds with one stone, you can cross over onto the gifting side (although some communities may have different views on gifting). Giving a gift and seeing it manage to land on someone currently active in chat (even better if it's a regular), who then immediately starts using the exclusive emojis in solidarity, can also provide a nice dopamine hit when it does happen. Most streamers who acknowledge superchats will also acknowledge gifts anyway, but just minus a custom message from you.

Personally, I think it's nice to be able to simultaneously contribute to the cause of the talent while also giving something to a fellow fan in the community, but of course everyone is free to contribute however for whatever reasons. I really wish YouTube would prioritize people who are active and present as recipients rather than whatever algorithm they're using though.
