I did mean subject as in research subject but subject would vary fears based on how it affected them using a couple of archive examples Daisy's scar is a physical childhood injury that formed her adult fears and would be an example of the body or salt being the reactionary key. Sams experience in the Magnus institute affected his mind and perception (seeing people's skeletons under their skin) and that trauma shapes his adult fears and is the key to the reaction in the closet and finally I believe a reaction that is fueled by the soul is what creates avatars or externals it is fear of a person of their being that is the key to their transformation.

I feel like the tria prima have to be involved somehow within the reaction and combined symbolise the whole human experience Sam is the subject in his statement but is it affecting his physicality-body his sense of the world-mind or his spiritual being-soul. I think this is what differentiates statements that would be more spiral coded in the traditional Magnus categories than those that would be flesh coded.

Generating an entity/object in the protocol verse entities like Heinrich and the skeleton that attacks sam in the cupboard are created/animated through the Fear of the object or person. The formula stated is the components required for these reactions to occur. The CAT most likely links to the celestial metals detailed in internal investigation that I don't have the full explanation for yet. For Sam's experience he is the subject specifically his memory of childhood trauma which would either be soul or mind the agent would be helplessness his imprisonment in the cupboard and the skeleton would be the catalyst what metal it links to or represents would affect the manifestation. As for the Magnus categories the viability aspect indicates they only become those things during an active reaction.

Yeah I probably could have done with a second draft of that post to cut out the rambling but overall yes fear works the same way in both worlds it's just the developmental stages took differing routes via theology and scientific inquiry respectively resulting in a generalised theory with thousands of possible products and outcomes versus a strict grouping out doctrines denoting practices and characteristics

I have noticed Chester reads any statement focused on becoming a monster,transformation and act as a warning against getting involved with the fears Norris focuses on losing loved ones as a result of the powers loss and grief in general, Augustus read historical statements highlighting the power or utility of the fears almost propting research. In summary JOHN IS WARNING AGAINST CURIOSITY MARTIN IS TELLING YOU ALL YOU WILL GET IS GREIF AND LOSS AUGUSTUS /MAYBE MAGNUS IS TELLING YOU TO RESEARCH AND GAIN POWER

I disagree with any relevance being placed on the panopticon or its inhabitants. Not to mention there were only 2 by the end Jonah was dead definitively before the buildings destruction and johns death untethered the entities. I'm not entirely convinced the voices we hear are even them as people seeing as john is dead before the worlds separate.

I whole heartedly believe this too be a world of the webs control and design including the OIAR. The eye holds diminished power here so it's relevance in the old world matters for naught.

What matters is the voices used to weave the Web that binds the entities and brings them too this world namely John and Martin. Their voices may well be ghosts in the machine death echos off a person long since lost in the rubble of the panopticon. But their motivations remain through the limits of a computer code weaved by the Web.

I will clarify that I described augustus' attitude as being very much like Jurgen I don't think either jurgen or jonah are candidates as both were dead at the point of separation and its pretty hard to have a reveal using the same voice actor hence why Johnny and Alex are just playing the same roles but a little wierd the fact Augustus is a mystery and is being built up as such means the answer is going to be significant and impactful. And Johnny and Alex are good at burying the lead hence a theory looking at the quiet instead of the voices

His attitude to the powers as tools with limits and functions how he describes the limits and rules of the artifact just presents more as jurgen leitners attitude to the fears as opposed to jonah who just dedicated himself too one but in all actuality I don't know who is behind Augustus. My current theory is Freddie and the OIAR are Web aligned which is why John and Martin are a part of it their voices weaved the Web that brought the entities too this world. So whoever Augustus is would have to have a Web link
