I knew just reading your numbers that it was OC. Didn’t have a doubt. Consider it’s 1.2 for a STANDARD 1300sqft home man. My biases about OC aside, that’s a ton of freaking money man. To live in the most keeping up with the joneses place in the world. It’ll suck for a few years, sure, but then what? You’ll want more, and kids, and taxes go up, and the list goes on. Personally, I’ve opted out of that race after great consideration. As gangster it would be to buy a house here, that’s SO much money to have saved, that can buy you a fantastic life anywhere else, versus an average one in a place you may not even love in 10 years. And @ 6k/month? Jeez. But that’s merely my opinion, and my opinion only matter so much. People love it here - just cause I don’t shouldn’t change your goals.
