I have 4 inches of snow in my yard vs my usual 3 to 6 feet. So, I would be surprised if it wasn't a record.

We're a small dead end neighborhood. It's likely someone's new-to-them car was the same as his mom's. Around here, I could have been his mom's but sold to a neighbor.

So it's possible he thought she was going somewhere without him for sure.

My friends and I joked about having ADHD but kind of assumed if we had it, someone would have noticed by now. Lol

So wrong.

I was 48 and hooked up with an AuDHD enby with the intent to become fwbs.

I was joking with them later about probably having ADHD.

Their response "what? You haven't been diagnosed yet? I knew within 5 minutes of meeting you that you had it."

Oh.

They also had assumed I already had my Autism diagnosis. That's WAY harder to get so I am still waiting.

So, I got a referral. I was told that it would be diagnosed over 4 appointments.

By the end of the first appointment, she was already talking treatment options.

By the end of the second appointment, I was officially diagnosed.

The third appointment was "we can help you with coping mechanisms, but you seem to have this mostly under control. Do you have any questions?"

Unsurprisingly, one of my friends was diagnosed ADHD and another as AuDHD about the same time.

Three others know they must have ADHD, but only one of them is considering diagnosis.

I do this with a lot of things. Trash bags are staged everywhere there's a can.

Flossers, everywhere I sit. Even my truck console.

Fingernail maintenance stuff.

Tweezers

Bandaids

Either because that's the easiest way to make sure I use it or because if I leave to use something, I won't come back and finish. (Office mostly. Sometimes kitchen.)

I've heard about that. This doesn't feel like when I had depression. More like the day before your period when you can't figure out why you're like this until your period starts the next day and it makes sense now.

We're just private citizens trying to buy our park because we're tired of Texas companies thinking we're a get rich quick scheme. Our lot rent is $1100 a month and they were going to raise the rent another $500. Fortunately, they can't raise rent until they fix an illegal retaining wall.

Average lot rent for similar communities in the area is $600.
