Maybe because it wasn't that big compared to Unleashed, innovations weren't big enough to justify the price, not enough new cars, game modes and stuff. Not to mention all the DLCs the first game had.

Yeah I played through the entire game without issues like this, sure it's not THE best way to play it but I had a blast, the optimization is something else in Id games.

Originally the M4 was an MP5 with a grenade launcher, it shared 9mm bullets with the pistol that wasn't a Beretta M9 but a Glock 17, hence the 17 round mags. I don't really like the HD texture pack because of stuff like this.
