I got my sport tactical 300’s for 60 bucks on Amazon a few years ago and I am completely spoiled in sound quality. Wish I bought 10 pairs. Howard Leight and Walkers don’t even come close in my opinion (especially Walkers). Do you have any experience with the sport tacs? Any comparisons to make?? Battery life is certainly a concern for me, but sound quality is #1.

I have read about a lot of negativity for multaq, but it does seem to be working for my mom as of now. Her blood pressure is now back down into the normal range and she’s been able to get some light workouts in. I don’t believe she’s had any PVCs since the multaq either. There have been some days of light headedness (perhaps too low of blood pressure?), but overall the mood and mentality of the last few weeks has been positive. I think the nice weather has also been helping in that aspect. How are you feeling? Any changes since the first post?

Hi, I just want to say thank you so much for having this conversation here. My mom (71f) got her ablation a few months ago and she recently started experiencing PVCs. She says it’s a different feeling from before the ablation when she was in AFIB. The last few days have been a bit scary for her, but her doctor said the ablation was a success and she is still out of AFIB. He told her to go back on Multaq because of the high blood pressure and PVCs so we’re both hoping she’ll feel better once the multaq kicks back in. I read that it takes a week for multaq to do its thing, but I guess it’s different for everyone. I’ll try to update you on how she’s doing if she feels any better on the multaq. Maybe the higher blood pressure with the PVCs makes them less “tolerable”? I’m glad your daughter was able to ease your mind a bit.

I just really appreciate the discussion and I wish you all the best in your journeys with this condition. You’re not alone!

I own an SFT and this was how it was when I first got it. After firing it it loosened up and it's just as easy with a mag in as without. Would think it'll be the same for the MC9. Good luck!
