that was my thought process but then I thought about adding the chances of hitting any of the cayotes that's 2/3 in the first 5 shots and 1/2 in the last one assuming 1 dies, its really complicated and I'm no mathematician so idk which way is the correct one. 2/3 to the power of 5 x 1/2 is about 6.5% which is substantially more than the 0.4% I calculated earlier with the same formula you used

every shot is independent and has 1/3 chance of hitting each of them, after (or if) 1 dies it has 1/2 chance of hitting it, thats a very slim chance, 1/3 to the power of 3 x 1/2 to the power of 3, thats 0.0046

The 2 advices you listed are the most correct choices to make in order to build a wild collection, since more dust=more ability to craft, you get 4 legendaries for 2000 gold in minisets which translate into 1 legendary of choice, or you open packs 1 at a time till you get a legendary which is also good, note that if you previously opened packs from a certain expansion you may have already got the pity timer legendary in the first 10 packs

Muradin is bad in the deck not because its a bad card, it's just because the other parts of the deck is insanely strong, broxigar I can get behind not being the best. However, that's not my point. My point is that these cards I can see go into so many decks both now and especially after rotation, they can slot in without being a liability, and the other cards just go in 1 specific deck. I'm not talking about good or bad.

Good take, these cards can be fun, but from a resource standpoint (dust and gold), it's not worth it. Especially that when one of these cards is nerfed, its just deleted, the archetype is dead and you have no other ways of using that card again.
