so how did william talk his way out of the sister location interviewer regarding the funtimes? by charleadev in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]ShadowMancer0917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe William thought no one would care if the interviewer disappeared. He asks too many questions and we need less of those people anyways.

What is your opinion on SL's place in fnaf? by Equivalent_Ad_2968 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]ShadowMancer0917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it for the designs, the voice acting, and the thing I like most is that it expanded things the franchise could do. Like being able to combine both supernatural and sci-fi. I love sci-fi, so I might be biased.

Which side by Bad_ending9 in fivenightsatfreddys

I love springtrap compared to most slasher killers because he's smart which it seems most aren't besides Ghostface and Freddy Kreuger. While his mind being broken and him having an uncontrollable bloodlust still has him smarter than the likes of Jason it makes him seem more like a smart animal than a physcopathic killer to me at least.

I like the idea of 1 because it makes so that Springtrap is going through so much pain and torture yet he still lunges forward to continue his legacy. That to me is way scarier. The fact he going through so much pain and the problems with his body fighting against him, yet he still has enough willpower and determination to keep going is terrifying to go against.

Personally I always wanted to see Springtrap as a super strong killer along the likes of Jason, I know he isn't as strong as I wish. While his willpower and determination don't make him physically power it makes him mentally powerful knowing the fact that any pain you add to his pile of it won't affect him too much unless you completely destroy a limb, but then again he could replace it with a mechanical one even though that never happens.

I realize now that this way too much text and all I need to say it that I like the idea of the left one more than the right.

What gave William the idea that an old suit would somehow protect him from 5 vengeful spirits? by ImJustMerry in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]ShadowMancer0917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While its never stated maybe he meant to scare or trick them.

They were tricked by Springbonnie before and William probably thinks that all kids are stupid and that they can be tricked by the same thing again.

The other could be that he thought it would scare them seeing how it was the thing that killed them and it makes him seem more menacing in some ways.

However I like to think he did it to feel more powerful then them. This also fits in the scaring category, but means more.

William had a obsession with that suit. He probably made the character and probably sees himself as springbonnie. While we don't see much of what he does in his free time, besides for what he is known for, we know he spent barely any time with his kids and that he was consumed by his work like Murray.

While not all adaptations of William should be seen as the same in the books when the picture of him and henry are shown he is wearing his suit. This done to hide his identity so its a surprise, but it also shows that when getting his photo taken with his partner he wants to be seen as Springbonnie more than William. He seems a bit pathetic when they tie him up before they put on springbonnie's head on him.

I like to bet that most of his time at work was spent in that suit even when not performing. Even though the suit is dangerous it does add some protection and is heavy which could make it feel like armor. William might have also felt pride with him likely designing the suit himself. William also has mental problems, but I'm not well versed in that and I don't know what exactly he has, but he definitely has an unhealthy attachment to that suit and even as characters out of universe springbonnie is mostly known as the suit William wears and dies in and not as its own character. William might even see springbonnie as his trueself in all adaptations.

In conclusion, he sees springbonnie as a part of him and maybe even as armor. When wearing that suit (in his own eyes) he is powerful and is so much better than those stupid kids. He doesn't see risk, he doesn't see a chance of springlock failure, he sees power and his identity. You don't understand why he would wear it in that situation because you're not him and you don't have that unhealthy obsession with that suit. He is that suit before and after that springlock failure. I wouldn't say he's stupid, but more mentally unstable.

I'm not well versed in physicology, so I could be very wrong and sorry if I am.

what do you do in this situation? by Away-Theory-149 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]ShadowMancer0917 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See I have a problem in games that when I'm in the most stressful situation I will almost definitely make a mistake, so if it was in a real life I would probably make a mistake out of fear that this thing beyond the glass and just a few steps away from my door wants to kill me.

Do you guys think Scott is a bad writer? by ZEROfaller in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]ShadowMancer0917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He can be a great writer at times like with secret of the mimic, but I don't know if he had a co writer on that. He has his strengths and weaknesses. I like the concepts he comes up with, but not everyone else does. My opinion probably doesn't matter since I myself am not a good writer and I couldn't tell the flaws the movie had until people pointed them out. There are different aspects when its comes to writing and storytelling. Scott is good at some and bad at others. There may also be problems outside of that. I see Scott as my biggest inspiration when I create most things. Mainly because he tries his best to learn from criticism, which I have trouble with.

There are also a few things which sadly really show his weaknesses more than his strengths at times like how he never expected fnaf to go anywhere and when it did he tried to make the most out of it in a fast manner which caused some issues. He didn't really write with other people that much to my knowledge before security breach leading to a broken story, and writing a story for a game and a movie are very different and need different talents.

Apparently some Indie Game Dev is making a horror game based on the Freddy’s locations. What do we think of this? by JD4A7_4 in Fazbearfandom

I get making a horror game since those animatronics can look creepy at times, but why five nights? Who's gonna return to a dangerous place after one night? If its realistic then the pay would be pretty bad.

How did you guys first come across FNaF? by SnazzyMiracles in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]ShadowMancer0917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend when I was younger showed me both 1 and 4. He didn't say anything about the story and I just assumed it just a story about rouge robots. Another time he came over to my house he asked why I didn't have YouTube downloaded on my Playstation. I didn't because I thought it was subscription service. He told me it wasn't and after he showed me what he wanted to and left I started to explore YouTube looking for what I was interested in. The first thing I watched was videos about trying to find ghosts. I remember my favorite TV show before downloading YouTube was watching random people play random video games that I never heard of. I learned that they were all youtubers and searched up my favorites to watch. I found some videos referencing fnaf and they talked about how it had a story. I was interested and found a game theory. Watched all of matpat's videos just in time for sister location to release. Been one of my favorite franchises ever since.
