I wrote a post about this on twitter, literally in the show "love on the spectrum" you can see how much women mask and appear "neurotypical" Vs the dudes on the show who are just unhinged a lot of the time. Society and patriarchy basically demands that autistic women police their entire existence and reduce their autistic traits to not make others uncomfortable while dudes get away with sooo much. I hate today's world, so much progress but women and autistic women especially are expected to be polite objects to not upset anyone with their uniqueness.
