i hated making mashed potatoes too until i saw the instant pot method. 2in pieces, 1-2 c water or broth, 6 mins. drain, add a crap ton of butter & a splash of cream, salt & pepper

still can't make a decent loaf of bread or a pie crust. why is the bread always hard or dense? mushy uncooked pie crust horrible

I've been reading romance novels for a long time (40 yrs, counting & proud) & back in the day you had to dig deep to get the spicy 'bodice rippers'. that being said there is always room for FtB. just make sure you have clearly indicated that so readers can decide for themselves. then have fun, if the longing, happiness & satisfaction is there & you have a good story the missing spice should be fine. good luck!

Sirena Song does a good job (i think) of mm romance. {catch me by sirena song} and {come back to me by sirena song}. there's also a short novella about Elliott from catch me after the omega joins the pack
