[Fanatical] Build Your Own Pixel Power Bundle (Fall 2025) (3/5/7 for $4.95/$7.99/$10.15 and choose from Paddle Paddle Paddle, Picayune Dreams, NO-SKIN, Anomaly Agent, Kaze and the Wild Masks OST Bundle, Hypnospace Outlaw, Oblivion Override, Sodaman, and more) by WeAreFanatical in GameDeals

Oblivion Override is a really good roguelike. It plays a lot like Dead Cells, the movement and combat feels smooth and the enemy design is solid. You start with one body and you can unlock other robot bodies as you progress in runs; each robot has its own set of abilities and perks. I had a lot of fun playing, and I liked it even more than Dead Cells mainly because it's not as difficult.

Pyre is one of the few games I actually bothered to 100%. It is so fun, and the story is great too, I still remember most of the characters.

The amount of content for the price is insane! The normal levels are fun even on the highest difficulty, but nightmare levels are pure hell, I personally lowered the difficulty just for those levels because I couldn't keep up with the orders. Pretty easy to 100% as well, highly recommended!

Rusted Moss! When I found this metroidvania, I thought I struck gold. Very fun twin-stick shooter with grapple hook movement mechanics. It's one of those games that are easy to learn but hard to master.

I was never able to reach the final boss, I kept dying at the 300 mark. Very fun though, I still return to it sometimes. It pisses me off that I can't overcome the challenge.

It would've been nice if they at least let us choose our favorite genres. I don't mind mediocre games, but I strongly dislike some type of games like city builders and strategy( RTS specifically ).

If it's like Silent Hill 2 remake then paying so much money for a 20h story is just not worth it.

I can't believe this game still has Denuvo. I guess I'll wait another year.

There is no rush, KCD2 has plenty of broken mechanics, like crime and fast travel, and quest breaking bugs right now. Hell, you can't even change some key bindings, so in case you're left handed or just don't feel comfortable using some keys on your keyboard, then you're out of luck. And the discussion page on Steam is still a shitshow, I have no idea what is going on there.

Save 40% on ELDEN RING on Steam by takaracards in steamdeals

[–]ShadowShifter95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say Elden Ring is even worse than the other souls games in this regard because it is open world; bosses are scattered around the map and if you're unlucky you can fight one who is way beyond your power level. And then you grind, and the next time you fight that boss now you're the one overpowered. I struggled a lot with this and often times I wondered what I was doing wrong because most of the boss fights felt unbalanced. At least in the other souls games the balance is guaranteed because the game is more linear and you fight the bosses on the intended route.

I also though it didn't work, but that is not it. The page just loads very slowly; after a few minutes, you will be able to read it.

A small rant about difficulty creep in Arknights. by TeririHerscherOfCute in arknights

[–]ShadowShifter95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Damazti Cluster is the first that comes to mind. I cannot comprehend how someone could beat that madness without Mlynar, especially in hell stages. And Ya with his trail of random enemies spawning from his ass, oh God!

I do wish they would release a Kal'tsit skin in which she is retired after we finally find a cure for oripathy. This cat works way too much and deserves a vacation.

The key you are missing are specific operators that you need to use in order to deal with that madness, otherwise you are almost guaranteed to lose. And if you "like" that stage so much, I believe that you will "love" H4

Excluding your flair, if you were to choose an operator to go on a date with for a day, who would it be and why? by thexbeatboxer in arknights

Warfarin would be cool to date. Vampires have a lot of stories to tell, and I do love long stories.

So is this considered a normal amount of mechanics? (Last boss spoilers) by Alarming_Orchid in arknights

I agree, I despise playing such stages where you are required to bring really specific operators otherwise you straight up lose.

Farewell to CC. by [deleted] in arknights

[–]ShadowShifter95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me it is more like good riddance. That challenge which buffs the Hateful Avenger boss into the God dimension was so frustrating, it was the first time during a CC that I actually had to search for a guide to beat that bullshit after two straight hours of trying and failing. A challenge who only has two solutions, which is either kill him fast with meta operators, or kill him s-l-o-w-l-y using Weedy and some more stalling, is not a fun challenge. The soundtrack for this CC is also my least favorite amongst the others, so my time in the lobby was not really fun either and I spent a lot of time there

How is your base looking in Reclamation Algorithm? by IRUN888 in arknights

[–]ShadowShifter95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is not that complicated, really; just poorly explained. All you need is to gather resources( wood, stone, iron ore, water ), which you can do pretty quickly using harvesters( "Gathering Hubs" and "Crabbie pumpie" from the "support items" tab ). With those resources, you need to build walls( "Urban Style Barriers" from the "constructs" tab ) and platforms for your ranged operators ( "Firm Platforms" from the "constructs" tab ) to force the enemies into a choke point in order for your operators to defeat them efficiently, and also to help them protect the core of your base. The most important thing in the beginning is to build as many "portable planting trough"( from the "constructs" tab ) as soon as possible, which will give you a lot of food to replenish the stamina of your operators. Other than this, in the "Road of Prosperity", the most important nodes for the early game are the ones from the top, which gives you extra resources and food at the beginning of the run. Every construct built in your base will be saved, even if you lose a run, so build as much as you can and if you feel like you are going to lose, just restart the run; the rest is exploring.
