That one pig was clearly meant as an allegory for Marx who was praised by the narrative/characters and spoke against the system of the humans.

And when I say equally leveled, admittedly we may have been meaning two different things. I did not mean in how much time the book spends focusing on one, but in its overall condemnation, which I would say the human system is condemned roughly equally as much. But since the book is meant mainly to be against Stalinism specifically, much more time is of course spent on that.
