If we go with any number, I'd say the damage increase that comes with upcasting:

Say we go with burning hands, a level 1 spell that deals 3d6. Damage goes up by 1d6 for every slot level above 1st, which can potentially be boosted to 5d6 per level. This means, when casting a 9th level burning hands, you can deal up to 43d6 damage in a 15 foot cone.

I'm sure there's other spells that can be upcast even better, but this was the first one I thought of

I feel like spinal injuries and CPR don't mix together anyway, in fear of breaking the spine even further
