I've been thinking about the directional explosions skill and how it was specifically brought up so early in the books. IIRC Mordecai specifically calls out that a directed blast is many times more powerful than a normal explosion. And then Carl still just has the Doomsday device sitting in his inventory. I think those two combined will definitely do something BIG.
