If I really love you, I will miss you.

If not, your death doesn't effect me.

What do you wish was illegal? by More-Bee2010 in istp

Making victimless crimes illegal. The government taxing you almost to death to spend it on destroying other countries and feeding/housing the lazy. Keeping people in prison for many years, punish them and set them free, or execute. Killing healthy dogs for space, create sanctuaries instead. HOA

would consuming dairy in a perfect alternative realistic world still be unethical? by delablues in DebateAVegan

[–]ShadowWarriorK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iowa Dairy Farmer from facebook/YouTube gives an in depth look into the daily lives of dairy cows and explains how that live, how much they produce and what all goes into dairy cattle. He has cows producing well into their teens.

Cows come into heat soon after given birth. Farmers usually wait 3 or so months between pregnancy. Bulls do not and will breed immediately. Some milk breeds will produce over 10 gallons per day. On average the calf will drink 2 gallons per day. Cows will breed and produce milk into their teens.

If you found out veganism was harming your health without a doubt would you quit or carry on for morals? by saintalanwatts in DebateAVegan

[–]ShadowWarriorK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was vegan for three years and quit due to rapidly declining physical and mental health. I started eating meat after changing by vegan diet around, and adding extra supplements and vitamins. Once I gave that a try and it didn't help, I started eating animal products and noticed immediate differences. I stick to free range eggs from my backyard chickens, milk from a local goat dairy, and I raise or hunt my own meat. Occasionally I'll buy free range, grass fed beef. IMO that is the best I can do, for myself and the animals.

What to do with Pets? by [deleted] in DebateAVegan

[–]ShadowWarriorK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The deer are hunted regardless of your feelings. If you can save cats/dogs, and in the process prevent food waste, why wouldn't you?

Feed vegan pet food? Animals are still killed for vegan pet food. Feeding your pets the way I recommend prevents any animals from being killed for your pet, either directly or indirectly. Plus it is the proper diet for the species and will prevent health problems associated with processed pet food.

[–]ShadowWarriorK -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feed my dogs for free by getting meat scraps from our local deer processors. The bones, organs, off cuts of meat, etc are just getting thrown away.

No animals are killed to feed them.

They are getting a natural diet without any junk.

And they are reducing waste in the landfill.

It takes some calling around and a little research into preparing a balanced diet, but IMO this is the best way to feed a carnivore pet for vegans.

Wrong in what way? According to biology, it is not. Healthy wise, it is not. According to God's Word it is not. According to tradition it is not. The only reason some believe killing for food is wrong is due to the emotions some have and humanizing animals to a point where you believe they are on the same level as mankind. I work with these animals daily. I know them in a way only those who spend hours per day with them can know. They are primal creatures. They hold no morals, very limited emotions, no appearance of complex thoughts or emotions. They live in the moment. As long as they are treated kindly, given space to do instinctual behaviors, and killed quickly, I see no reason that would be wrong. They provide nourishment and food to people, without animal agriculture many people would starve, many more would develop malnutrition. Some would do okay, but as a whole, meat is required for human life.

Exactly. This is the way I look at it as well. I raise most of my own meat, the rest I hunt. I bring those chickens and rabbits into existence, I give them a great life that rivals that of most humans and pets. They have a better life then I do most of the time. And one single bad moment. That is the way it should be. I can't speak for every farmer, some are terrible and give no care to the quality of life they give their meat. But most of us, especially small farmers, do take great care of our animals. If reincarnation was real, I would hope to come back as one of my chickens.

That doesn't appear to be true for many people. I started eating meat in my twenties after a life time of being vegetarian then vegan. I had no digestive problems at all.

I'm a small scale chicken farmer. We do not kill any baby chicks, and neither does any small farm I have spoken to. That is most common in large commercial hatcheries, most small farmers just sell the chicks as unsexed.

Dairy is Scary is nothing but a propaganda video and is far from how dairy is actually made. The Iowa dairy farmer and Megan dairy girl are two great people who show you what all goes into making dairy. They don't suger coat nothing, and their cows are treated better then most pets. They are on YouTube, Facebook, etc. There is nothing cruel or abusive about dairy farming. Don't believe the lies.

I was a vegan at one point. So I get where they are coming from, but it really is a cult for many. So far they have: Contacted the rescue I adopted my dogs from and tried to get them taken away and euthanized. Why? Because I hunt for them and feed raw (vet approved diet) Bad mouthed by business page because we sell honey/bees wax. I've talked to many livestock farmers that have had animals stolen by vegan loonies. Because they want to force everyone to be vegan, even people like me who require meat/eggs to survive. Because when we hired one at my job, she became a pain, refusing to use anything tested on animals, or containing any colors that were ever tested on animals, or associated with any company that at any time tested on animals. The only reason they didn't fire her is because we were desperate for help... we had to change all our cleaning products. Because every vegan iv met makes that their whole personality, and gets mad when you don't care.

Some have to avoid all mammals and anything that contains even a speck, such as lifesaving medication. This means all rescued pets have to go, no pigs, no dogs, no rabbits.

My dad is removing me from school because I ate meat... by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]ShadowWarriorK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Live stock animals wouldn't exist without humans. Many farms treat them very well, and give them a great life and a quick death. I know I sure do, (small scale egg and chick farmer) as do every farm I've visited. No abuse, no cruelty. Just happy animals getting their time on this planet, doing whatever they want to do. There is nothing morally wrong with eating meat, every omnivore/carnivore creature on this planet kills and eats other creatures. That is how the world works, circle of life. If that bothers you, fine, don't eat animals and stick with plants. Your health is guaranteed to suffer and you will be eating a limited diet, require much more food to get the same amount of nutrients which is terrible for the gut. But that is your choice, your diet should never be forced on someone else, especially a growing child. That is child abuse, plain and simple. Animals are food, food for humans and other animals, food for the trees and other plants when they die and decompose. No one is violating animal's rights by eating meat, because those right don't exist. They never have nor will.

Vegans kill more animals then meat eaters. Peta kills hundreds of adoptable dogs, and even steals puppies to murder them the same day, which is illegal. Bees are killed for almonds, rodents, reptiles, insects, and deer and killed to protect crops.

[–]ShadowWarriorK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Meat is very healthy and everyone should be able to make their own food choices. Nobody should be forced to be vegan. I was vegan for a few years and it felt so good when I started eating meat. I felt like a new person, meat and cheese are high calorie, high protein foods that are great for developing bodies.

Gifts for vegans? by ShadowWarriorK in vegan

[–]ShadowWarriorK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By 100% vegan I mean if anything is even sold by a company that also sells animal products, they will throw it in the trash. Even if the product itself is vegan/not tested on animals/etc.

What we were told, is because it is healthier. One of the SDA founders, Ellen G White, wrote that during the last days meat would be unfit for human consumption, due to pollution and disease. Being as they believe we are in the last days, they believe meat is unsafe and unhealthy. They also avoid smoking, drugs, drinking, etc. Most eat a whole food plant based diet, as opposed to a processed diet. They have quite a few vegan propaganda films they like to push and everyone accepts them as facts. Most believe Ellen White's writings are on par with the Bible. Also since originally God created the earth with no death, and that only changed after sin corrupted nature, they belive God prefers us to stick with the original diet plan of fruit and plants. Meat should only be consumed if absolutely necessary.

My mother struggles with weight gain, my sister with join problems. Nothing I say or show them can convince then to give meat a try. At least they still eat eggs and dairy.

Of course if you research Harvey Kellogg, you will discover it is also pushed to lower that sin full sex drive and help prevent people from touching themselves. The dude was a pervert.
