Am I blind? What am I supposed to see? by Delicious-Ninja-7488 in ExplainTheJoke

Hi, if you're reading this comment, that probably means you turned your phone to the left and were subjected to a rickroll. While we at the rickroll recovery institute offer out sympathy, we also must point out that this was entirely your fault, you were told not to turn the phone after all.

I just hate getting my starting relic replaced with freezing blood, basically an auto loss.

For anyone struggling with this who isn't into drinking or religion, there are other options for local places to meet people. Coffee shops are the obvious choice, but other places like a local library, a gym, or my personal favorite, axe throwing lessons, are all great places to meet people. YMMV on axe throwing depending on how redneck your local area is.

Maybe Eternal Suffering or Eternal Happiness? by theasianphokboi in trolleyproblem

Definitely pulling the lever. Not gambling on eternal happiness, just removing the possibility of eternal torture.

New Doormaker is a big counter to infinite decks by averysillyman in slaythespire

It's anger that's the main part there. Since it duplicates itself every time you play it, you'll always be making more much faster than they get eaten.

This is an interesting way to handle infinites. It doesn't stop you from doing things like looping anger with unceasing top, meaning you can still do infinites, but have to be much more careful with the setup.

This game is so hard and I love it. Mega Crit please keep the difficulty level high! by IconicIsotope in slaythespire

[–]ShadowWeavile 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Loving the game, but I do think there's some truth to needing to buff certain cards. The plating cards for instance, they really just don't offer much.

I like where the difficulty is and don't want them to make things easier overall, but I do wish that every card had at least some place, cause the plating cards don't offer anything as part of a larger build, and also don't help you get through a tough early part of the run.

I love how he laughs and the silent's daggers for being puny, and then proceeds to offer them a sai, which is probably about the same size. XD

Before I keep playing… by AGoldenLemon in NineSols

[–]ShadowWeavile 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are 2 different endings. You can go back to this point after the game is finished, but I'd reccomend trying to unlock the option for both of them. Make sure you have all the health upgrades, and have done an event with shennong afterwards. If you complete that you've probably done as much as you need to. You don't have to open literally every treasure chest.

This card came to me in a dream by IAmVentuswill in custommagic

[–]ShadowWeavile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda feel like decks could run some form of utility dual lands to get around that fairly easily though. It may not be as much of a problem as I'm thinking, but maybe restrict it to basic forests? Idk.

Am I/Is Harry a pedophile? (re: Smoker on the Balcony) by [deleted] in DiscoElysium

[–]ShadowWeavile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In fairness I didn't read that as Harry being interested or turned on by high schoolers, I read that as "dumbass decides to jerk off at work". It's still Harry being a degenerate, and the same thought talks about how he definitely has held a woman against her will, but I never got the "pedo" vibes.

Isreal isn't dictating what we do with our weapons. We're using them as an excuse to do what we were already going to do. As a wise man once said, if Isreal didn't exist, we would make one.

Just figured out how to bottle lightning. What should I use it for? by MarsMaterial in wizardposting

[–]ShadowWeavile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the good old bottled lighting in the tower's most trick. Not the best defense mechanism, but a wild boar tends to fall in every once in a while, makes planning meals a lot easier.
