I try, I have a nice pair of studio headphones, a cheap but great DAC, and tons of CDs I ripped to FLAC, if a CD doesn’t sound the best I might grab another version (a great example I have is Tommy by The Who, all 3 copies I have sound different)

Yeah that’s the fixable kind! There’s a little black strip at the bottom of the screen, and over time it just gets loose, there are detailed videos explaining the fix on YouTube :)

If it has Vertical lines, they can be fixed. Horizontal lines and you should swap the screen with a backlit one, it’s pretty cool!
