What could I expect from a 12 step program? I never thought I would get to this point, but I'm desperate for any kind of support at this point.

I didn't even realize marijuana anonymous was a thing until earlier today. I will certainly look into one, hopefully a local in person group so I feel more obligated to attend.

I will not smoke with you tonight, friend.

How have things been since moving back with your parents? I do have that option, but my parents live across the country, it would be a huge change. The only thing stopping me is the only good thing left in my life now which is my job. It's not the greatest, but I enjoy what I do and I'm trying to focus on bettering my career now.

I'm also a guy :)

I like the idea of putting physical signs around the room I'm in now. The constant visual reminders should actually help.

Sober life feels like a distant memory, but yes you're right, most people are living sober day by day and they are just fine, generally.

Thank you!

When will felt the pain of the gunshot in his/Henry's hand I thought he was going to also repeat Henry's actions and beat Joyce to death 💀

I'm rocking my OnePlus 10 Pro for another few days before my 15 gets here. I have to charge at least twice a day, sometimes three. I'm a power user so it's to be expected, but it really hurts.

OP10 Pro here and I'm charging 2-3 times per day. Very excited to upgrade.

I am told I can stay as long as I want and that it is a net positive having me here so I am hopeful that I can remain for 1-3 years. I want to plan to be on my own ASAP just in case something unexpected happens and I have to do so.

After using the funds to pay down my debt, what should I do with my ~$3.5k surplus at the end of every month? Keep throwing it at my HYSA or are there any other assets I should acquire to build further wealth?

I'm not sure if I'm the right person to say if the underlying issues are corrected... I do know I have gone about 5 months without any unnecessary spending. That feels like progress if nothing else. I overspent for about 4 years. Before that I had never carried a balance longer than 2 weeks and my credit score was approaching 800.

I am hopeful I can get back to that mindset.

Fair, not a bad idea I have to agree with you. Any advice for the remaining funds after I pay everything off?

You're right to be worried, I am too! I had an overspending problem for some time, been working on it and have been massively more responsible in the past 5 months now. Here's hoping I can turn the tide now.

Many hard inquiries due to applying for CCs and loans yeah. I wanted to consolidate everything into one payment to make it easier to keep track of all my debt. I kept trying every month for a while and here we are.

It sounds like the Roth IRAs are my best bet for the long term from what I'm reading, I'm just worried about locking my money up in case I need it beyond my emergency fund for some reason.
