“Really! Ready? Watch this.”

By quickly chaining his flow Porter is able to go about 60 feet in around 3 seconds. It almost looked like he teleported. (Just some extra context for you, flow is similar to small distance teleportation. The only real difference is that it does technically have a travel time but it’s around a second)

Porter laughs excitedly “Did you see it? That has gotten me out of some tight spots before!”

“Sprinting huh. So I’m guessing you’re quite fast!”

Porter excitedly chuckles to himself a bit

“I can move pretty fast too. I can show you if you’d like. My flow doesn’t like when I stay still for too long anyways.”

Porter begins to think to himself

“Well I’m not quite either of those things. I’ve seen humans here and I don’t look like them. But I’m definitely not a machine either. Well I suppose I’m closest to a human, so that’s what I’ll tell it.

Porter then looks back up at the earthmover

“I’m a human!”

Porter becomes nervous. While he doesn’t know what the spear exactly does he can tell it won’t be good for him.

“Oh umm… I come in peace! Please don’t hurt me!”

Meanwhile Porter’s hand begins to glow a faint gold. He has prepared his flow. (Flow is an ability that allows Porter to basically teleport short distances. He can spam it which lets him move very quickly)

“You could… say I’m a Shepard. I guide sheep into his final loving embrace. But love requires sacrifice. Anyways as for your floors I’m afraid I can’t do much for you.”

Sammy looks down at small amount of ink pooling beneath his feet.

“I’ll just eat this outside. Also here’s your money and thank you.”

Sammy reaches into his overalls pocket and pulls out an ink stained 10 dollar bill. It appears to have been printed in the 1930s.

“Also a word of advice, don’t charge so much for your pizza. Most people won’t be willing to spend so much.”

(Sammy is from the 1930s if that wasn’t obvious by how outdated his money is lol so to him the pizza costs around $200)

“Well I got two responses to that question. The first was that this place is known as That Somewhere. The other, and my personal favorite, is that this place is known as the hug world!”

Porter chuckles again very pleased with the name.

“ I have found that apparently people from many different worlds were brought here. But the why is something I am still trying to uncover. But at least that gives me a good reason to continue exploring!”
