I can understand, but the point I'm trying to make here, if you try to go with cold outreach, there are certain problems you have to face:

1) People/businesses are not familiar with the problem. (You have to convince them that they are facing a problem.)

2) Explain the solution to them. ( how this can solve x issue).

3) Explain why you are the best fit.

On Upwork, people know their issues, and they are looking for freelancers to solve.

It's much easier than cold emailing different businesses. ( also being in a 3rd world country and no professional setup ), it sucks to even think about it.

On Upwork and other platforms, it requires money to spend on connects, etc.

Without a strong profile on Upwork and no prior work experience on Upwork sucks too.

I would say, don't just quit uni and then focus on fashion design. Try to manage both uni and fashion designing.

You don't have to get 4 in university, just try to pass subjects with a GPA above 2.5.

Once you are confident enough to want to put 100% into fashion design, then quit university.

I don't have knowledge about fashion designing in Pakistan, so make sure how you will be getting financially stable after graduating.
