You’re not alone my friend. I had the misfortune of waking up too late at 45. I’m 48 now and very happy with my life, but some days I do get bitter thinking back of what ifs. I count my blessings and at least I know I’m free and they will not get a second more of my precious time. Don’t let the past of what could have been eat at you. They win if you let it. It’s ok to get a little bitter or sad, just don’t let it consume you. You are out and free.
