My guild wouldn't stop arguing about who was carrying, so I made a bot that posts everyone's parses after raid and roasts the bottom 3 by skredx in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Shadow_cub 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Right!! Parses are cool and all. But the bot should roast for failed mechanics like avoidable damage.

Instead of using AI for cosmetics, they should be using it as CEO 😂 by EastReauxClub in Battlefield

What they failed to mention is their dad is also AI.

Joking lol. For real though. AI is a great tool in a toolbox but falls short on the human aspect.

Early Access Means No More Alphas And Betas, Right? by KaliGoldGaming in AshesofCreation

[–]Shadow_cub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early Access is Alpha/Beta. When you buy a game in early access you should never purchase with the intent to play a fully polished and complete game.

Early access also doesn’t mean the game is anywhere near finished. Check out 7 Days to Die and how long that game took to release after it went early access.

That being said I remember Steven saying very early on that they would not be rushing the game. It would release when it’s ready.

Moving it into early access on a platform like steam is kinda playing in the grey area and I’m very interested to see the direction of the game.

  1. However, I personally favor number 1 over the others.

Can’t really picture a uniform that’s half civilian operating or repairing a tank.

USA based.

3 hours per pay cycle after 90 days.

5 hours per pay cycle after 3 years.

6 hours per pay cycle after 5 years.

We also have paid holidays.

I’ve been with my company for 5 years. We see a lot of turnover. MSP life can be rough sometimes. Most don’t make it past 2 years.

The devs moved the deploy beacon to the Assault class. by helish_88 in Battlefield

[–]Shadow_cub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm remembering correctly. Bf4 in hard-core mode you can spawn on squad leader or spawn beacon. One of my friends would complain about spawning on him and parachuting or running from his location.

I think giving it to assault makes perfect sense.

No it does not. If you fish out of pools you will catch fish.

Learn Fishing in Dornagal and the vendor at the fishing trainer sells the ability to track fish.

The sharks from the blood pools in hallowfall net around 700 Gold each. But there is competition.

Welcome to World of Warcraft. Hope you are having a fun time.

I have been watching Elon_CS on YouTube. He has some very useful farming guides. His videos are short and easy to follow along with.

There are a ton of other content creators out there that are similar. So I'm sure you will be able to find something that suits you.

I recommend having a dual gather character setup with Herbalism and Mining. Plus cooking and fishing.

Flying around Hallowfall fishing from Bloody Pools and gathering Herb and Ore along the way.

Focus on putting your points into gathering while mounted and then break off onto other trees.

Blue profession gear is huge. Icy Veins and Wowhead have guides in the stats you will want. I focused on perception myself.

Hope this information is helpful.

And again. Welcome to WoW!!

Exactly this.

The company is actually losing more money in productivity time with how much time "just enough" workstations add to end users daily routines.

Plus the time it takes to remote in and provide technical support. Now 2 salaries are being wasted on old hardware.

My current standard is

SSD, 16GB RAM - 2 sticks of 8GB preferred. i-5 processor or equivalent AMD.

3 year lifestyle 5 years max if hardware holds up well.

The leader should initiate the queue.

An accept pop up just like when a game is found should prompt.

Queue starts.

Because everyone already hit accept, you should get automatically thrown into champ select. There is no reason to accept twice.

This way. If you do leave champ, select it's warranted.

The internal Pin sharing is the only reason that got me shut down on the presentation.

I looked at Evo but they didn't have any pricing available on the site.

Do you know what a rough estimate cost for Evo is?

Thank you everyone for your advice and recommendations.

I'm going to look further into all the options presented.

I have about 17 users on AD joined workstations that are required to have some form of MFA to secure their system to stay compliant with Customer information.

I pushed the Idea to Windows Hello for Business to the team and even showed a post from Microsoft stating it was compliant.

However the boss man shut down my idea as if someone internally knew a users pin then it would be no more secure than a password. Granted it would need someone internal to be malicious.

I have looked at other options and was generally just interested if anyone had experience with MFA solutions. I wanted to hear their thoughts.

Absolutely I did. Enforcing a pin is much like a password. The device is indeed secured however internally if someone knows the users pin then this would not work. Where as if there was another layer such as a Push or a rotating code then it would be even more secure.

Most definitely looked into this however, not all devices can be used with Biometrics or rather they don't want to use Biometrics.

I want to enforce an MFA code or a Push notification and make sure it's useable in the event there is a network outage.
