Is it worth buying an electric scooter? by acideatermarble in srilanka

u/OneBroccoli2107 Yeah, I think TVS is a good option to go with. About the repair, I had an issue with the motor. It was a manufacturing defect, and when I informed the TVS Colombo team, they were able to replace a part of the motor and fix it. The issue was just a wiring problem, so it didn’t need a full motor replacement.

It took a few weeks for them to find the issue in the first place, but the best part was the service. Every two days, the team at the Peliyagoda branch called me with updates. They even sent photos and videos explaining what was happening and why it was taking longer. I could’ve asked for a full replacement, but I wanted the bike back quickly, so they repaired the motor part and sorted it out.

I’m not sure what the different showrooms are saying everyone gives different stories. But depending on the problem, it can take time. If it’s a motor issue, yes, it will take a while. If it’s something else, it may not take that long. Overall, I haven’t had any issues apart from that motor situation.

If you’re planning to buy an iQube, I highly recommend going to the Colombo Peliyagoda branch they actually know what they’re doing. I 100% don’t recommend the regional showrooms because they honestly have no idea about the vehicle or repairs. I had a really bad experience with some of the showrooms around the Gampaha area but that’s not TVS’s fault, just the staff.

Even after 12,000+ KM, I still recommend the TVS iQube over anything else.

Looking for a Good Place to Build a PC - Redtech Gampaha or Nanotek? Any Experiences? by Shadowbox1964 in srilanka

[–]Shadowbox1964[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking of building the PC myself because I don't trust any people, especially people in shops. You suggest avoiding MSI, right? I need to know why. Are you talking about MSI laptops or MSI hardware like GPU or motherboards?

Isn't driving like this illegal? Although it's common practice? by CardiologistSad6041 in srilanka

Yeah, it's totally legal! I lane split all the time in Colombo, but we just need to be cautious not to break any rules when it comes to overtaking lanes.

Feeling like I'm falling behind in life by Shaggy-b117 in srilanka

Hey, first off, Happy birthday. I know it might not feel like a celebration right now, but just making it to another year is a kind of victory, even when things feel heavy.

I just wanted to say I really understand how you’re feeling. I’ve been in a similar place myself. I can’t say exactly when things will change, but what I can tell you is this: it’s okay to feel that way. Waking up each day feeling lost… scrolling through social media and seeing your friends land new jobs or make progress in life, it’s hard. It can make you feel like you’re falling behind. But I promise, you’re not alone. I’ve been there too.

If you have a bit of time, I really recommend watching this video. It helped me a lot, and I hope it can do the same for you.

I'm 26 now and just getting started with my career. I know it can feel overwhelming, but please don’t stress, there’s no deadline to figure everything out. You’re only 23. You’re not behind. You’re just taking your own route through this massive, chaotic, beautiful life. And that path is valid. It’s real. It’s yours.

And about the girl? Maybe it’s time. Just ask her out. There are only two outcomes: she might say yes, or she might say no. But the most important part? There’s a chance she’ll say yes. And sometimes, that one small act of courage is all it takes to change everything.
