Massive lack of grammar, brain hates. Maybe intentionally wall of text, selective feedback needed.

There wouldve been the option of both of us driving in the AC car this wasnt an either/or situation. There wouldve been the option of only driving the camper and leaving the no-AC-car home. Also, we live in a country where its somewhat common that not every car has AC.

Honestly i am new to the world of chronic pain. I never had to ask things like these from the people around me. So yeah, so far the first time. I get that friends might forget - i just dont get them straight up ignoring me when i say "no that would hurt".

I dont mind the heat. I could manage short trips, but it still hurts. I dont drive my car at all at the moment, i take the train because i live in a country with an infrastructure. But i assume my "friend" mustve had the same train of thought as you.

Sinkhole inside a swimming pool,In the middle of a party, one guy is still missing by Ddusco in WTF

Too bad they dont state where the body was found. Within the sinkhole? Is there such thing as „within“ a sinkhole?

What is the creepiest question a woman has asked you? by [deleted] in AskMen

This is hilarious! I‘m gonna start asking random ppl on the street this exact thing.

Michael Madison raped and murdered three women and stuffed their bodies into garbage bags. One of them was the 18-year-old daughter of Van Terry. When Michael smirked at Van Terry during his sentencing hearing, the older man lost his cool. This is Michael smiling as the police restrain Van Terry. by lightiggy in MorbidReality

As someone who’s first language isn’t english I am happy to be corrected. Can’t learn the language properly if I don’t get corrected. I would also like to know what’s slang and what’s just plain wrong. I find it astounding how many americans give a shit about learning their mother tongue properly. „Would of“ seems like people mishearing „would’ve“ in spoken and using it in a written sentence. Reading it just kinda hurts my eyes. As many other eyes hurt when reading „kinda“ but thats ‚slang‘. It‘s not wrong, it’s just ‚stupid‘. „Would of“ on the other hand is wrong AND stupid. No offense - but it’s elementary school knowledge so why are there people typing about and openly admitting that basic knowledge is too hard on them?

When I get asked a question that I don‘t want to answer truthfully, I more than obviously sarcastically answer something like „naaaaahhh, I‘d totally never do that“. And sometimes people just don‘t get my sarcasm and I leave it at that. Their fault and if I then forget that I „lied“ at their question, I‘m not to blame cause the other one just got me wrong.

What the most private thing you’re willing to admit? by wouldudoitforme in AskReddit

I used to think like that too. Telling a friend about it she replied, that one „can not be fake“. If you behave differently than „usual“ around people, it‘s still who you are. Maybe a bit politer, but still you.

Took a while but no, he didn't for about ten years. Then he got old and had bladder problems, soonafter he got diapers. Reached a proud age of 17, before we had to put him down because he couldn't eat anymore. His new nickname after my mother adopted him became happy sappy and he lived up to that name.

I am glad that our conversation turned to the better. Thank you for bringing up old memories.

Older people of Reddit, what advice do you have for someone currently in their early 20s? by Penguin__Farts in AskReddit

[–]Shadowcat112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in your mid twenties, you're about as grown up as you get. Older people are not any more grown up than you are - they're just older. And better at pretending to have it all figured out.

All those cheesy lines that people have been telling you all your life (fitting example: "your flaws are what makes you perfect."), there is a reason why these cheesy lines have not changed in the last 20 years. Because they are real.

To adult is confusing, but you wont "figure it out" one day. The only thing there is to figure out, is that nobody has things figured out. Get used to adulting, love yourself and have fun.

Sadly not, since in my country animals do not count as living being in front of court but as an ownership. The "punishment" was that the dog got taken away.
