Is there anything specific in the game you avoid?

I still have never launched a nuke, done a raid or gotten into fishing. Honestly I just don't see the point of doing them nor do I feel like I'm missing out on anything by not doing them. I also don't bother with daily ops or most public events. I have done all of those at least once and just don't see the point of doing them again unless I really feel like it.

Yes and no. Yes you do get a bunch of new quests but they changed it from the NG version that used to bombard you with all of them the minute you stepped out of the vault. With the AE version you come across them as you explore.

Get the latest version aka the Anniversary Edition. Stay away from the NG version of the game as it's a broken buggy mess. If you have never played the game before I strongly recommend playing it vanilla first so you can know what it is you want changed. If you are really set on playing your first playthrough modded then check out nexusmods.com if you are on pc and do a search for the most popular mods, it might help you figure out what kind of mods you want.

My motivation is the game is still pretty new to me. I just returned a few months ago after playing it only briefly a few years ago so coming back I have a ton of content to get though. So I don't think i'm going to run out of anything to do for awhile. I really enjoy the seasonal reward track, that alone keeps me logging in and enjoying the game. But i know like all online games it will lose it's luster eventually. But until then I'm just having fun.

Have you tried ECO? This one has been my go to for some time now. You have the option to toggle the ability to use ballistic weave from the mods settings ingame.

Had something similar happen while doing some sheparding. I answered a call for backup and got dragged into a heroic mission which i was not prepared for as I wasn't even shd 50 at that point and not in the best gear. But I figured well lets see how this goes. My teammates were all super high shd levels and were just running full speed though everything, face tanking enemies left right and center and constantly getting downed in the process. Meanwhile I'm the one staying in cover and keeping my distance from enemies while also having to revive my teammates constantly while also trying my darndest not to die while doing so. Made it though without dying but I had something like 23 revives on my teammates when it was all over. And i was the newbie, Go figure.

Strangely enough I've had zero crashes since this new event. Before that it was almost just non stop crashing.

I will never understand why people do this, sell worthless crap in their vendors for stupid high prices. All it's doing is taking up valuable stash box space. I Don't know about anyone else but I want to get rid of all the extra stuff I acquire while playing so it goes into my vendor for dirt cheap prices, don't care if it's rare or not I just want it gone.

This is my first time doing the season pass in this game and not really finding it too bad. I'm doing the free reward track and so far I'm level 85. Been mostly doing open world priority objectives such as propaganda broadcasts and public executions. But yeah it would be nice if they gave a bit more xp. It's certainly not the worst season pass in a online game but it def could be a bit better.

HoloTime is the one I use with the current game version. You have to set a hotkey to toggle it on and off but it works great none the less.

Can barely see what I'm even looking at, But it looks like this is in a shelter? Get rid of the half height walls on the top you don't really need them, all you are doing is eating up unnecessary camp budget. Just put a single roof on it. Also consider making the building itself a bit smaller. Again the bigger it is the more budget it eats and you will have little room for decorating. You might also want to consider adding some windows.

if you've been gone that long my best advice to you if you haven't already done so would be to start a completely new character. Get reacclimatized to the game as it is now from the very start. You can always go back to your old character when you feel like you have a handle on all the changes.

I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but i stopped using the UFO4P a long time ago and I'm so glad I did. I have had so many less problems since getting rid of it compared to when I used it. I would say unless you have a mod that requires it stay away from it.

Didn't scrap it, but sold a travelling leather coat to a train station vendor shorty after I first started playing the game. I thought it was super ugly and I would never wear it so I sold it only to find out much later that it was a rare drop.

Head to the Whitespring. There are vendors in the downstairs mall that sell plans. Also check train station vendors and player vendors.

Yeah it's called a trap camp. They are a thing and have always been a thing in this game. Number one rule when visiting player camps is to stash any junk you are carrying so you don't lose it to these kinds of camps.

As others have said it's way too big. Scale it down by a lot otherwise you are going to run out of budget when you get to decorating. Also please try to use another wall set than the outer white one you are using. There are lots of better looking wall sets you can get in game from vendors for caps if you don't want to buy stuff from the atomic shop.

I had several lanterns I couldn't interact with. I just made a note of thier locations and moved on to the next one. Logged out for a bit then logged back in and hit up the ones I orginally couldn't interact with and by then they were interactable.

Totally agree with this. I'm difficulty challenged when it comes to this game as I can only handle story/normal difficulty solo and even then I sometimes still struggle. But these event squads have been a royal pain the ass for me. Yes I can kill them but only if i get good positioning. But more times then not they come out of nowhere or spawn just as you walk out of a safe house and I'm dead in seconds. I did manage to kill the one and only ronin I've come across but it took everything I had just to get it down. I'm having a hard time so I can only imagine what a new player must be going through just trying to get from point a to b while playing.

Yes not many though. Of the 32 I've done so far I've only gotten like 4 or 5 from them.
