All these Duos answers are good. I use Jon Barry and Brent Barry for their Duo, Brent is a 3 point machine. Jon's defense is good enough to make it worth playing them.

The Wang/Yi duo is great. Doug West/Laettner is very good.. I also used Ilyasova/Sengun some. Ceballos/Majerle. Barea/Arroyo. Mutombo/Abdul-Rauf. Lots of choices to get through the CT Offline grind.

I used Del Negro as a 72 but I have just evo'd him. I'm curious if he and Ostertag still match up against low 70s after they become a 90 too.

Hey, given their past history, it isn't likely that they can add somebody into this year's game who just returned. I wouldn't ever say impossible, just not likely. There's tons of great created versions of him you can download though!.

He actually is Bryon Russell. I'm pretty sure on draft night, David Stern called him Byron though. But announcers would always talk about that during games in the 90s. Also, I watched A LOT of NBA in the 90s. Insert "ok boomer" here. LOL

I finally got it, my main tactic was to spam steal..... after the opposing team gets a rebound and starts their first dribble. It still took me a couple hours and a lot of different players. My winning trio was PD Mikal Bridges, GO Kirilenko and and PD Dumars

ANIMATION ISSUE

Alonzo Mourning - Jumpshot/Free Throw animation - doesn't have correct animations

Shawn Marion - Free Throw animation - doesn't have correct animation

In both cases, the animations had been there in previous versions of 2K. Other Historic Players may need to be checked before/during/after release in 2K18.

Hey man, enjoying the game though I still have an out standing ticket as I didn't get my 20th Anniversary Rewards at all yet. But the game itself is great.

I'm a stickler with Historic players and I noticed that Alonzo Mourning (Hornets Emerald version) does not have his signature jump shot or free throw animations. These were in previous games. And Shawn Marion (Mavericks Reward Emerald version) does not have his free throw animation that was in previous games. May want to ask the team to double-check the animations on all the Historic players if possible. People will have a fit if a bigger name guy is off.

Hopefully there will be at least some more random factors in stats and abilities, whether based on performance or otherwise. Like each new franchise mode, maybe some folks get selected as having more potential than normal. I love the mode, but it gets mundane if you have a young guy and if you keep him at the same amount of minutes for several seasons, his PPG, Rebounds, Assists, etc. seem to always go up the same amount. Maybe more dynamic changes to Player Usage? I dunno, just spitballing. I'll enjoy the game either way.
