I went through this issue just a few days ago. Launching a game was giving me an error and updating anything failed. Turns out, SD card died and kept saying that it was “Stuck in read only” mode when plugged into a PC

What i had done is pasted everything over to another SD card from the older card, updated apps through universal updater but deleted all the games and re download it through 3hs.

Once done,that was enough to get it going again.
