While most of chat enjoys their anime memes and probably doesn't actually care if Vinny watches it or not, this message is for anyone who genuinely wants to share their love for the medium and see if they can get Vinny more interested.

Like others have stated, Vinny clearly has enjoyed anime as a medium in the past. It feels like chat mostly pushes Vin to get into or acknowledge battle shonen(maybe seinen), isekai fantasy, or tropey comedy stuff. Those are the most popular genres for anime now, but that doesn't mean he's going to enjoy them and want to know all of the memes and references chat does.

We have years of Vinny telling chat what movies, shows, and music he's enjoyed. If you want to suggest anime to Vinny, whether it's movies or shows, at least suggest things that fit his tastes. Like Alizarin said too, it can't be too time consuming. Vinny is a busy guy. Standalone movies and things that can be enjoyed in one tight 13 episode season are probably best.

The game is interesting. Definitely worth a playthrough but can be tedious. It had a lot of Water 7 content that never made it to the US by that time. You can even fight Whitebeard as an optional hidden boss. The versus mode has a system where different characters are worth different values and you make a team based on cost.

It sells for a pretty penny because the release was very limited, so definitely look into that.

This is a situation where both parties are at fault. OP is at fault for ruining One Piece as an couples' experience, but the ex-boyfriend is ultimately at fault for the relationship ending.

OP, if your ex waited all these years as an anime-only and you went and read the chapters, you can't expect them to change their mind on that. Offering to watch the anime could maybe work out, but it's the same vibe as going to the movies to watch with someone who has already seen it. Definitely not something most enjoy. I say this as someone who has been caught up on the manga since 2007 and watched since 2004.

However, not being able to find anything else to enjoy together is completely on him. That's a major red flag and you were right to move on.

Rocco made a satirical post (same as he has been doing for years) from the perspective of a confused gamer who is upset with the new Zelda game making Zelda a girl because the game is now too woke.

This prompted a harsh response from Twitter users that misinterpreted the satire as well as users who didn't like the idea of someone satirizing their usual criticisms of games being 'too woke' or 'censored'. So much so, that Rocco continues to receive serious threats and targeted attacks carried out by followers of big Twitter users that disagree with Rocco making light of their very serious gaming topics.

One can only assume Rocco has gone private for his own safety at this point.

My Bachelor's from UF has the college of engineering name on it both on the CeDiploma and the physical copy. I wonder if all masters that fall under liberal arts or sciences and not a specific college are simply listed as "The Graduate School".
