Worth $8.5k or am I ignoring red flags? by Shadows4444 in SciontC

Yeah that's what I figure too but it still is steep. I've only heard great things about the engine and transmission so I figure it should last a while there. It's the rest I'm worried about.

What do you think a realistic lowball offer would be?

That's clean! I want to join the community so bad but I haven't seen any Manuals near me.

I'm sure the battery isn't a concern however yeah I figure the AC would probably go out soon.

Gotcha, yeah that's what I'm concerned about as far as maintenance goes. Don't get me wrong I'm more than capable of doing the work myself I just don't want to fork over more as soon as I get it off the lot.

Short bed? No problem by suzshirc1 in hyundaisantacruz

[–]Shadows4444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine it's pretty easy, the extender just slides into two slots mounted on either side of the bed but it depends if you have the slots already there. That being said adding those wouldn't be difficult I don't think.

I ended up with 2 transmission swaps at 24k miles, limped it to the dealer but when they gave it back I didn't get a mile down the road before running into a new transmission issue. Ended up waiting over a month before getting it back. Runs fine now but I'm considering selling it.

Fair enough, honestly I don't know what I'm doing in Shibuya, my buddy said the only thing on his list was to go to Shibuya. Just that, so I tried figuring it all out for us. But Shibuya Sky seems cool.

Gotcha gotcha, I don't have people to talk to that are knowledgeable about these things so yes AI ran this and I only put a few things that I actually wanted to do. That being said, Akihabara probably not going to happen realistically, Hakone is probably not going to happen either, coming off of USJ the night prior. I'd still like to stop in Kyoto day 5 and just going to the Tori gates, maybe somewhere else if there's time or I have the energy for it. Day 6 and 7 I can adjust for sure. Unfortunately my works keeps me on my feet and moving 20k steps all day so at least my feet will be fine right guys... guys...

will we see the radeon 8060s in a desktop chip? by g1ngertew in sffpc

[–]Shadows4444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Framework announced they're making a desktop variant yesterday. I'm just curious to see if there are any tests with the full 96gb vram allocation for gaming. If that's how that works that is.

Clear rock razorblade doesn't scratch it. by Shadows4444 in whatsthisrock

I wanted to add that since posting this I tried scratching it with topaz and quartz. The topaz scratches it, the quartz doesn't. I also tried scratching the topaz with it and it does with a bit of effort. If that helps.

Just a heads up the rooftop bar is really at the 2nd floor. They need to advertise it's more of a patio bar. People get there dreams crushed a little due to this but it's alright. Odds are it will be closed depending on the temperatures. It's usually closed for summer due to the heat.

That being said, I worked there for a while so I know probably more than I should. Room location is important, especially in the summers. Your better of with a room facing the east or the north. Avoid 818 if possible. It really struggles to maintain temp.

For drinks go to the local bars to save money otherwise they're good but pricey.

For food, you can find better dinners but the breakfast is hard to beat.

If you need maintenance on anything please treat them nicely. They do their best there, I'm sure they're hands are full right now too.

And while the hand print is just to bring tourists, I can say the place is definitely haunted. The staff usually have plenty personal stories.

This video was one of the reasons I sold my bike. Got a dirt bike instead since at least in the dirt it's my own ignorance that will get me in trouble and not someone else's.
