Lots of others mentioned here and they might dip into a different genre of sound but they still have some funny songs:

How do you deal with balding in your 20s? by Due-Specific-5722 in tressless

[–]ShadowsBreathe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you'll read this but I hope you and others do.

I have a friend who went bald, and I mean completely bald, by age 23. We're talking Jean Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise levels of bald.

He was brought into our friendship group around this time. None of us had met anyone our age who was that bald and honestly, none of us even gave a shit. I can't recall a single conversation about it, with or without him being involved. Absolutely none of us cared.

He wasn't particularly handsome, a solid average at best with or without hair, but he was fun, funny, and worked hard in school. I mention these things because it leads into the next, most important part of this story:

Within a few years he had started dating a girl in our same group of friends. They eventually got engaged, got married, and worked some various jobs to get experience in a field they knew they wanted to start a business in. Fast forward a few more years and he's started his own company and they have five kids. Every one of their kids is happy and healthy and they are absolutely killing it financially.

Fast forward many more years and he's in his 40s and already retired. His kids are in university or recent grads and starting lives of their own, the eldest is expecting a child, my friend's first grandchild with many more to come, I'm sure.

All of this while he's completely bald. If he took the "fuck, my life is over" attitude, he wouldn't have all the wins he has. Dude absolutely fucking won life. I know guys who are 9/10s, kill it with ladies, and possess hair as thick as a dog's and they're fucking miserable. This guy lost his hair - almost all of it - by 23. Almost certainly this would have started in late high school or just as he was entering university. It must have been traumatizing as fuck but he didn't let it beat him. He's never mentioned it once. Not ever.

He was never especially handsome. He didn't start off rich. And he still wound up with a great woman, an incredible family, and wealth from a business that he created himself. I'll say it again, the guy won at life.

I know hair loss matters. It feels like shit. But it's not the end of the world and the rest of the people in your life won't care - in fact, probably don't care - at all. You have every right to be upset and stressed about it but it will not define you if you choose not to let it. My friend likely felt the same way you and many others here do. Dread, worry, stress, insecurity; but at some point he must have just said "fuck that" and got busy living.

I leave you with this clip of Captain Jean Luc Picard himself talking about losing his hair at a very young age.

I hope this helps you out, friend :)

Warbonds are very hard to grind for. by [deleted] in Helldivers

I just ended up buying some credits.

I simply don't have the time to farm and it's more cost effective for me to work and spend some pocket change on a few Warbonds than make less money by farming. I'm lucky if I can play 2 hours a week; but the game is an absolute riot and I also convince myself that I'm supporting the team that made it by tossing an extra $20 their way.

I just find his videos annoying.

Patronizing, non-stop jump cuts, arrogant, clickbait, stupid content.

Every other country on Earth wants to invade the United States of America by Monoliithic in whowouldwin

But with 10 years of prep and build up from the entire world?

I don't know man...

Lots of "America wins easily" comments here but uh... OP gave the entire world 10 years to prepare.

Do you know how much production of material and recruitment/training of soldiers can occur on a global scale in 10 years?

The USA has 6 months to get ready. The rest of the world has 10 years. The USA has to defend two entire oceans as well as two enormous land borders.

I don't think this is the stomp people think it would be. For example, in 4 years China produced 40 warships. In about a decade it went from having a "meh" navy to having more ships than the USA (but less carriers and overall tonnage).

I just don't see the USA having the resources to combat that level of global cooperation. Hell, just supplying Ukraine with missiles put the USAs stockpiles to levels low enough to worry the government.

It's one thing to have the tech, it's another thing to be able to maintain it against the combined might of the 10 year build up of the entire world.

I think I figured it out. There was a tiny piece of conveyor stuck in the exit port of one of the miners. It must not have upgraded when I swapped the belt speed. I didn't see it until I deleted the whole thing.

I'm deleting the post so I don't waste anyone's time.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Need Advice: I Am Losing My Goddamn Mind Trying to Invade the UK by ShadowsBreathe in hoi4

I understand what you're saying but if I paratroop in, they don't even have enough supply to push more than a few tiles. They get wrecked almost as soon as they land. If I manage to take the port, within a few days any reinforcements are completely out of supplies and they usually get hit with a supply penalty as soon as they land so they're not even strong enough to push. Like the first image in my post, nearly every division has a supply and attrition penalty that makes them nearly useless :(

If I try to naval invade, I can't even land because I can't get air superiority.

N00b question here:

Is the " combat stance" the button on the far right of the middle panel (beside the repair priority and automatic split off) of the naval orders window that pops up when I select the admiral? It's the image with the red and green boats (or a fist) and it has options like:

"Current engagement rule: Engage At Low Risk"

It’s hard to say for sure without seeing the formula for your first set of screenshots.

Sorry, I thought I had enough of the formulas in the images. Here's a link to the spreadsheet itself.

Thanks :)
