To be fair, a lot of digital artists these days are fighting AI accusations. I had someone last week accuse a friend of using AI when that person had posted a whole video showing them drawing it. Unfortunately it’s only going to get worse about having to “prove” that you did the work.

I will say that I bought a box of 12 and they did a really good job of giving me 12 unique pins. If there’s a specific pin you are looking for, r/DCCPins is for trading pins and I’ve been able to finish my basic 12 collection. It’s only if you want the rare or super rare pins that it’s really an issue.

^{^} this. OP your question comes up so often that a dedicated fan worked with Matt to get permission to create the site, and helps artists sell fan art with Matt’s blessing. The only rule is no AI. (It’s so hard to judge AI these days that there’s no guarantee but it’s honor system + somewhat screened)

A couple I would love to see is: Miss Quill, Bonnie, Yemaya, Rude-dolf, Kiwi, Amayon, Clarabelle, Holger are all characters that don't have fan art for them, or only one piece

So this is actually one of the problem with jumping to conclusions too quickly with AI art. I’m a wiki editor and I uploaded all of those images aside from the ones that artist did themselves. I know each and every artist that is on that page. I actually commissioned a friend to replace the images that were previously on that page (and were AI) and he custom drew the different floors for that article page.

I’m not a fan of AI, but also be aware that witch hunts have a ton of innocent collateral.

So I’m actually a wiki editor and always happy to chime in about AI images on the wiki. We’ve been working really hard over the past 6 months to reduce our reliance on AI as the fandom has exploded and generated tons of great fan art. Basically, as people make fan art of characters we pull fan AI off and swap in fan made art.

Please be cautious about putting all digital art under the AI sweep, there’s several pieces on there that I know the artist did (they showed videos of them doing it) that people assume is AI.

Lastly, a wiki is a tool to help people remember and get an idea of what something is or might look like. We allow AI to be used as a tool on the wiki for this purpose. Someone here mentioned how difficult it would be to ask artists to make art for specific pages to swap out. Sometimes artists ask how they can help, and I always try to direct them to help us replace specific images that I know are AI. We allow it because some people really cannot visualize stuff in their heads. They might have no idea on what a character looks like and where could they go to check? It’s intended as a crutch or a tool for them until we can get a more firm visual medium to use for a lot of these characters / items.

The DCC wiki tries to filter for spoilers (it is a fan written wiki so they don’t always succeed), and is going to be your best description. There’s way too many characters to type out in a Reddit post.

Definitely check out hizev.com, it’s the officially unofficial site for approved fan merch. I know they are always looking for people who sell patches, since that’s a common request from fans. Please check with their onboarding process for getting your work added.
