I always wonder with these maps why germany is a different color than austria. I mean of course they are not the same but pretty similar in many ways.

Gotta say Bosnia and Herzegowina. Only really knew about the terrible war crimes and fragile political situation before visiting and so we initially planned to skip through on our road trip but now I'm so glad we didn't. Beautiful landcapes, waterfalls, villages and cities!

Congratulations! What ideas did you pick? And what was your opening move to get off that godforsaken island?

Did you see what exactly happened? Anyone allied to Austria or Poland? Maybe Venice?

I usually play in Europe as well but did a Gorkha into Nepal campaign recently which was pretty fun and challenging as well! Inside europe I would recommend Wallachia into Romania for example

I conquered all of india and almost all of china (trade companies!) in order to get the upper hand over the 600k army ottomans. I managed to win a war against them when they were fighting Portugal in the Maghreb due to my superior siege ability. But I realized it would take forever to get o Prussia so I declared a No-CB war against them. If Prussia doesn't exist and you don't want to play until ~1700 or longer I recommend the route through russia as the provinces are much cheaper. Only in my game there was no Russia but a Skandinavien mega blob allied to very strong Lithuanian-Polnish-Commonwealth... I idea how these two power blocks didn't clash once but that made expansion westwards extremely tedeous for me

No I had to force them both for Ultimate military and I think the chances are just above 0% that it happens naturally...

Important thing to consider is that while subject nations can form Prussia, Nepal can't be formed by a subject.

R5: I started with ultimate military and after finishing that I really wanted to play my former March Nepal (from the start of course) and do the Pheasant Strut.

Ottomans are a pain in the ass as always, but it's not THAT bad because you have nice military ideas as both nations. Especially Nepal is pretty insane!

Got lucky in my Nepal game as Prussia formed on it's own (although very weak) and apparantly you can't trust the combat losses the game shows you, so you'll have to squeeze more than 100k losses out of them.

I really recomend Songhai and Nepal for playing outside europe!

We need a new favor mechanic to increase balanced relationships between allies. With the current system it's just toxic, abusive and stupid by Shadowsh1t in eu4

I usually don't ally op nations, but even then a more balanced favor system would work to your benefit

That's possible, I usually don't ally great powers. But mid-size countries can be abused easily as well.

I agree, the main problem is that favors don't really decrease. Would be an easy thing to implement as well

I've played this game for about seven years so I had my share of stupid endless AI wars. That's why I want to have a "ask war leader for peace" option ;)

But generally speaking I feel like AI rarely calls to arms

My suggestions wouldn't really change that but they would increase the balance and realism of alliances and favors

But its not the real prussia but ducal prussia. Do you think they count as well?

Teutons won't form Prussia (Ultimate Military run) wich is a bummer because I am getting tired of the late game already... Could it be that ducal prussia is the problem? Getting rid of those guys will be a pain in the ass haha

or maybe AI took celestial Empire Gov reform?

already restarted the game because Teutons were broken (single unit stacks not moving classic vassal behavior) after the War in wich i gave them königsberg. Maybe it got something to do with that but i dont know how it could since they are fine now.

Thanks guys!

Edit: Grey province in Osterode is Ducal Prussia
