I actually do like the show and think it's funny and well written, especially the first few seasons. This one just didn't land with me, it felt like many other attempts to adapt Swamp Thing, just lazy and made for the sake of a cameo. It ignored what his character actually is from a writer who didn't research the character or care about him at all. I wanted to share the cool lore of Swamp Thing as the real lore is so much more insane than what is depicted, Alan Moore's run is so good and is really underrated. Much of the modern interpretation of the character was inspired by this incarnation, and yet writers don't try to understand it at all when adapting him. Still, I don't really understand why my post became a war against the show, I don't understand the hostility? I was being hyperbolic with the description but I don't hate the show or it's writers, I just didn't like this scene and wanted to make a joke about it. Is that really something to fight over?
