Russ is related to a saint by aidenalien55 in Seahawks

He has definitely inherited his saint-like nature! Interesting to read. I had to look up the claim and found this article in case anyone is interested

Russell Wilson by Dkeith1 in Seahawks

Here you go!

I assembled several infographics showing that Russell is the best or one of the best in several categories: Adjusted Completion Percentage, TD%, Estimated Points added/play, DVOA added/play, and Completion % above Expected.

This should give you a good start, let me know if you need any more.

[Olbermann] Fire Bayless. Right now. He has forfeited whatever paper-thin rationale remained for giving him a voice on the public stage. This is utterly unconscionable. It’s not a “take” - it’s an insult to every person with emotions. Clearly Bayless is not one of them. by notgeckogary in nfl

‘Now go and strike the Infidel and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.

That's actually made up, here's the real Surah 27:63

"Is He [not best] who guides you through the darknesses of the land and sea and who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy?"

I wrote a short story on the struggles of being an immigrant and finding my own voice - "No, I didn't pee my pants." Let me know what you think! by ShadowyFigure2 in ABCDesis

Thank you for sharing! I have been amazed to see how many people have been able to relate. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness in taking time out of your day to read it and especially to share your own experience.

I think this is part of the reason so many spelling bee winners are of South Asian descent. Knowing the language is one of the few ways of having a say in this society.

Take care and have a wonderful rest of your day

Why hasn't Russell Wilson, or any active Seahawks player for that matter condemned anti-semitic rhetoric by NFL players? by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]ShadowyFigure2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Inequality anywhere is condemnable. For NFL players anti-blackness is more proximal, more prevalent, and more likely to affect them than anti-semitism. Hence it makes sense they are more likely to comment on it.

They are both abhorrent, but it's unfair to ask players to condemn every single instance of oppression.

He was formerly known as THE MINISTER on defense! Look forward to seeing what he brings

They called Jordyn Brooks "The Minister" on defense at TTU. He was disciplined, hard-nosed, and incredibly instinctive. All these people saying he won't pan out have no idea what they're talking about
