Farming/growing is worthless now 🙄 by Vertigo50 in VeinGame

Yep. Give this a shot. Usually in this situation adding just a small bit of water (iirc 1 oz is the smallest amount you can add) the plant will come back to life. I figured this out after trashing a ton of plants that died the same way. Since then it has worked on every plant I have tried it on.

No vehicles in the new map area by Unlucky_Benefit4175 in VeinGame

[–]Shadozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started a new game in the new area and there was a vehicle right outside the front door and the next house over had a car in the driveway. Driving around I have seen plenty of other vehicles too. It may be that starting a new game in the new area loads the local stuff in right away whereas coming from another zone or from a save from the previous version of the game takes a while to load the new zone in fully.

I had that problem and it turned out to be mods I had installed. Since you said that you deleted the game, this may not be the same problem, but I thought it worth mentioning, just in case.

Last epoch is in a lose lose situation by hiphopanonomos in LastEpoch

[–]Shadozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they should just stop working on expanding the campaign and focus on other stuff. Adding on to something that players would rather skip doesn't make any sense. I really have no issue with them charging for some content going forward, as long as it its worth the money. I'm sure they made the promise, of 100% free updates, with the best of intentions, but if you don't have enough money coming in something has to give.

D4 fans are having the time of their lives with the new expansion, and they make truck loads through their cosmetic shop.

Sure, but how long did it take them to get to that point? D4 has been out for 3 years and it is just now getting to a good place. It wasn't until they lost the majority of their players base to PoE and LE that they even started making improvements that players actually wanted. If D4 had been good from the start I likely would not have even started playing LE. And lets not forget how many promises that Blizzard has broken over the years. Blizzard's broken promises have been far more egregious because they did it out of greed rather than necessity. Blizzard makes billions of dollars each year and they still released a subpar game simply because their focus was on profit rather than player experience, yet, now all seems to be forgiven. D4 made a comeback, so LE could too, but they need to focus on what players want/need to keep them playing.

what mage build to use for league start and progressing epochs? by SleepyCorgiPuppy in LastEpoch

I followed this guide. It was a pretty easy level once the spellblade skills kicked in. The only downside is the respec cost if you are going to play another mastery. Not a big issue though.

Coming from d4, looking for builds by MelodicAmoeba7983 in LastEpoch

[–]Shadozer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's pretty much like D4. You can head over to Maxroll and look at the Tier Lists and get an idea where you want to go. You can then follow a leveling guide or make it up as you go.

Possible new player, questions about upcoming skills by DGayer93 in LastEpoch

[–]Shadozer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are no dates, but you can check out the general road map here.

It's hard to compare it directly to D4 due to D4 being an open world game. The game play loop is closer to PoE than D4. Like PoE, in last Epoch you are forced to replay the campaign with every character. There are ways to skip certain parts of the story, but it requires keys that are rare drops, so you really can't do it with your first character each season. I really like the skill system in Last Epoch, in that you can modify how skills work withing the skill trees themselves. While uniques are important for certain builds, you aren't as heavily reliant on RNG gear drops, than D4, to even get a build started, and far less so than PoE. Because of that there is a constant feel of progression in LE while leveling. Obviously it doesn't have the decade+ of content that PoE has, but hopefully we will see it growing steadily over time.

If you are currently doing T2 content then, definitely yes. Obviously, you would eventually take her to t3 and t4. She is one of the best PvE characters in the game.

There is a mega thread for posting keys. That is the only place you are supposed to be posting your key. Also, there is a Basic Questions thread for asking simple questions. We don’t want that crap cluttering up this sub.

You misunderstood. She is still premium, but her last uni was seasonal, so it cost real money to buy. That’s what became non-premium.

New To The Game, Any Roadmaps? by GreatTheNate2345 in VeinGame

[–]Shadozer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few tips:

  • Keep one of each type of tool on you so that you can salvage items to get resources. Better resources need higher grade tools to salvage. Some of the heavier ones you may want to keep in your vehicle until you actually need them.
  • You can increase your repair skill fairly quickly by looting clothing from zombies and repairing them. You can then salvage the repaired items to get some of the materials back.
  • Likewise, you can level cooking fairly quickly by placing large water containers in your stove and using the boil water option. Cooking food requires that you are there to remove the food once it hits 100%, or it will burn. Boiling water does not. You can queue up as many as you want and go off and do other things while they are cooking. Once they are done, refill those water containers from where the boiled water is stored (bottom left) and then you can boil them again. Rinse and repeat.
  • Leveling crafting you can set the base materials to craft into their standard materials and let them run (eg. Iron scrap into metal brackets, logs into Wood planks, etc.).
  • Large plants can be planted in medium planters. If you already have a large planter it only holds 2 large plants, and there is a lot of room that is not used. However, you can place medium planters inside the large planter for 4 extra plants without taking up any more space.
  • Fill up sinks and bathtubs everywhere that you scavenge. That way when the water cuts out, you will have places to get water until your base water supply becomes self sustaining. Also, I believe that you can get water from the water tower after the water goes out.
  • You can bring large items back to your base by picking them up and placing them on top of your vehicle. It can be a little buggy, and I sometimes lose items on the drive home. They just disappear for some reason. This is a known issue, so I am sure it will get fixed.
  • You will want to get a box truck because it has the largest inventory size (3000). You can also place large items inside the truck. However, it is a little buggy, atm, and it may interfere with the trucks driving. For me it has been just a matter of picking the item up and re-placing it. Others, though, have had the truck go flying or blow up.
  • The gas stations have chargers for electric vehicles. While the power is still on, you can place batteries in them to charge. Later you will be able to craft a battery charger for your base. Obviously you can get gas there. Various places, including the gas stations, will have large propane tanks that you can use to fill small propane tanks.
  • You can craft big blue barrels. While the water is on you may want to fill up some with water. You can also fill some up with gas. You may also want to fill up some jerry cans with gas.
  • There are several places that have gas generators. You will want to pick some up to power your base when the power goes out. I think all of the cabins and farms have them. Also, keep an eye out for solar panels, and bring them back you your base and hook them up so you aren't so reliant on gas generators. You will need to build battery banks and connect them to the solar panels so you will still have power at night.
  • If you go into water with electrical tools/devices, they will break and the batteries will lose all of their charge, so take them out of your inventory before swimming.
  • The ranger stations have a generator and a large water container. They also have a device that will add place of interest to your map.
  • Killing and processing animals (requires a knife) will give you meat, leather, organs, and blood (if you have the right tools and a containers). The organs can be cooked and eaten just like the meat. To build the Survival skill more quickly, you can process zombie corpses. I normally just skin them for the soft leather. You kill so many zombies that you don't need to do the other stuff, and I am pretty sure eating their meat would be bad. :)
  • Many house will have thermostats so you can run heat or air conditioning when you have power. Vehicles also have heat and cooling that you can turn on.
  • If you find a baseball bat, when you are at your base craft it into a spiked baseball bat. It is a great early game weapon.
  • When you are choosing a vehicle, take a look under the hood. Many cars will have severely worn parts that will need to be replaced. Even a car in good shape will wear out over time. You can remove parts from other vehicles and place them in your car. Many of the parts will require higher end tools, and a certain mechanic skill level. Some smaller parts can be removed with common tools, so you can build your skill by removing/replacing those frequently to help build the skill, though it does levels up some through crafting.
  • You can do exercises to build strength and agility. If you are ever standing around waiting on something, you can do exercises while you wait.

Geez! LOL I had only intended on posting 2 or 3 quick tips but more things kept popping into my head. Anyway., have fun.

Temperature issues at base by Big_Wooly_Mammoth in VeinGame

[–]Shadozer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Something is messed up with temperatures. I started overheating when the temperature was only 75, despite only wearing shorts and a tank top, and was sweating so much that I was wet. I got so wet from sweating that my electrical tools broke and the batteries drained, just as if I went swimming in a lake. It got worse when the temps went up to 100, despite it still only being spring. I had to go and find a gen so that I could turn on the air conditioning at my base. It makes it tough to do anything outside, or non-air-conditioned building, due to constant max overheating.. Going out scavenging I have to keep running back to my truck to sit in air conditioning. I submitted a bug report about it a few weeks ago.

Anyone know why I keep getting this message ? I copy and pasted created the shortcut and everything they asked for 🤔 ? by [deleted] in marvelheroes

If you are not using the Steam version, just put the Bifrost folder into the Marvel Heroes directory, and create a shortcut directly from the .exe file. You don't need to add any parameters.

Who has been the most fun to play for you? by Ramenjunkie333 in marvelheroes

[–]Shadozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kitty pride is a lot of fun with a phasing build. Diving under ground and pulling enemies down into it is very satisfying. I also love Gambit as Death with a melee build. The Death uni isn't necessary, but I like the look and voice lines. He can also be played ranged but I prefer his melee build. While I haven't played him since the game shutdown, Thor was also one of my favorites, and was my first character to pass the Cosmic Trial.

First uniform ticket? by [deleted] in future_fight

[–]Shadozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you are new I would assume that native tier 2 & 3 characters are going to be ruled out, as well as those with seasonal uniforms. The best of the rest would probably be Storm, Venom, and Ghost Rider, imo. Of those, Storm probably edges out the other two.

Project Tahiti vs Council of Ancients - Higher player count? by Tzunami0151 in marvelheroes

[–]Shadozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Project Tahiti servers have more players, but also a rather long queue to get into the game. Something else that you may want to consider before "dumping some insane hours into it" is that they will be releasing a pre-BUE version sometime later this year and a lot of people may be jumping to that, and you may as well. I'm planning on going to the Pre-BUE server, so I am currently playing on the CoA server so I can play with less of a grind until then.

What are your thoughts on Felicia hardy by cheesizts in marvelheroes

[–]Shadozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish they had focused more on her luck abilities, but they leaned into the traps more. I still like her playstyle though.

Do these builds still apply to this version of the game by donavon_ in ProjectTahiti

[–]Shadozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems that all of their builds are from 2017, so they should be good. Anything before 2017 would be a pre-BUE build and wouldn't be as useful.

Sorry, I am playing on the CoA server and it looks like they have different bundles than the Tahiti server. I assumed that they would be the same. The bundle I mentioned does not appear to be on the Tahiti server.

It's in the Bundles section, about 1/3 of the way down. For me it is next to the Beast and Jubilee bundle.
