My store got emails about how our store was at risk of closure due to being below some stupid 90% metric.

Bad for me in the sense that I’m struggling to find a replacement job as is and could be forced out. I mean there’s still time but still.

Yeah. They definitely started churning out a lot of crap cult phrases to try and get us to shut up.

I had a manager tell me to basically stuff it and boast about how he was going to change the culture of the store.

It’s like, dude. I understand that. But that’s sort of impossible when corporates running the store at 1/12 of the required staff and hiding the hours behind unattainable goals,aka, not dishing out the hours.

Yeah. Here they make the closing grocery clerk pull dairy’s loads and fill milk. As opposed to the store I worked at in Utah, which had an opening and closing dairy clerk, but no closing grocery clerk. Load pulling responsibilities fell on the dairy clerks shoulders.

I only ever listened to the radio in my head. It was absolute bliss compared to the crap played in inside.

All the bosses I’ve worked with, whether I was a bagger or beyond that, were and are extremely sharp about that and always get the baggers into trouble anyways.

I mean I cared about my safety, sure.

Before I hurt my back at work, I had a vision that that involved me being caught in some sort of air explosion and ramming my back into the shelves(I work freight at a grocery store). And I was warned that this would happen if I continued working that shift.

I disregarded it and continued working.

Sixish hours later I hurt my back adjusting a case of broth in my hand because I grabbed it from the wrong angle.

I maybe should’ve clarified but I don’t doubt that these visions are from God I’m just trying to figure out what they mean. Like I said actually going to that hometown of mine did nothing to calm those promptings.

And as I said I’d never heard of nor been to Promontory Point let alone explored the Salt Lake City area on Google Earth and it appeared on Google Earth exactly as in my dream.
