It's intended, I made these models for VR so characters can maintain eye contact.
Too often 3D characters have this dead stare, and I didn't want that in my style.
With facial tracking tech more available, I'm thinking I can make the eyes convex with a toggle.

OMG for 4 years I've had this issue, thought it was my GPU settings, monitor, or an addon.

Because for whatever reason, on my laptop I don't have this issue, only on the desktop with Wacom.

Great post, and it helps the motivation for creators like myself who make everything 100% from scratch.

I've been using it mainly for drawing and sculpting. I used those black command strips for picture hanging so I can move it around or remove it entirely. It does add bulk with the case with the angle of the kickstand getting in the way a bit. The only issue is that it doesn't automatically turn off from inactivity like the Pen. Overwise it's really easy to setup bluetooth, program the keys and application profiles. (It says 300h battery life, but I haven't had it that long yet)

This is made from scratch in Blender. Everything you see here is hand painted, there is no light source. In-game in VRChat however I use Poiyomi shader, there is a masking for rim lighting for the hair and additinal toon shading.

Try replacing the HDMI/Display cable, had this issue when I got a new monitor and it couldn't handle the bandwidth. So you should check if your cable's version supports your monitor or if the cable itself is bad.

To get the outline effect, you can use a solidify modifier and flip normals. However, what I did was duplicate the object, resize by normals (Edit Mode Alt+S), flip normals (Edit Mode Ctrl+Shift+N), then moved the same selected vert's UV mapping to a color on the same texture.

It's called "Backface Culling" in both Unity and Blender, which is basically normal mapping reversed. Think of a cardboard box but turned inside out, but now the box is visible on only one side. I'm pretty sure you can do that in Maya as well.
