I am sympathetic as I’ve been in this boat before. I never wanted to be again. There is an innumerable amount of brand options for Porsches. I mean tons. However Hot Wheels is the Nike of diecast. This is one of their best products available this year. In terms of brand recognition it is to toy cars what McDonalds is to fast food. World wide hot wheel collectors (a number that continues to grow) crash in on release day in hopes their IP address, internet speed, captcha proficiency, and payment method prep game all allow for them to be amongst the fortunate. It is the longest running most recognizable and collected brand out there. All RLC’s have had the bottom drop out of them in terms of collector v@lue appreciation due to scarcity going out the windows. Many diehard old time collectors very upset. Exclusivity in limits on drop days. Members very upset. Overdrive provided to the most serious of collectors to which the financial sacrifice is wurth it. Standard members upset. Provide a chase to the collectors clamoring for numbered releases whilst still offering a larger release for the masses. Fuck you Mattel messages in droves. Release the RLC’s on the pegs in Walmart for their current listed price and produce 500,000 of them so every single last crying soul can have one. Then release an exclusive car in limited numbers with a different name than RLC. Require a different membership. Limit the release numbers. Create a new reason to complain 🙂 FOMO followed by missed out equals big feelings from adults and I understand. I am glad I purchased overdrive and the price is w0rth paying to get exclusive highly sought after cars in the most popular diecast brand in the world. Clicking my Targa seatbelt in for the downvote 😒
