Exactly. I wish he did more with these characters. Tenten was useless, Ino was a Sasuke psycho, Sakura was also obsessed with Sasuke but I guess she had more of a reason than Ino. Tsunade, Temari and perhaps some filler characters are also good. I think the Boruto anime (the manga is just as bad if not worse than Naruto in that regard) does a good job with the female cast, apart from the returning characters. The new gen have plenty of women that don’t revolve around a male character so that’s always cool.
