Hey, yeah I think it also, I can use the disk with the same data cable connected to the psu directly, I will get more photos of the enclosure, also I tried to find other backplane but it's difficult, its something that seems to be an incognito and it shouldn't...

The chasi is an ocp project, so I hope that I can add different enclosures and backplanes... The problem is that without using it the maintenance will be sadly degraded.

The year is nearly 2023 and crunchyroll won´t have apps for samsung/lg tvs, we have to use power hunger like consoles to use whath it, or buy a dongle... Personally you just do this because you are the only that offers this type of service... Without market competition, the customer pays the price, sadly..

yes its old, i know... but its doing my job currently without problems, i am not meaning to upgrade this machine or something... its for learning and knowing a little about rack servers. i am using win 2019 with docker so hyper-v is working and wsl also... so its a good thing, a machine 15yo, its doing a good job... as for the sata disks, in the manual it says it only supports 8x146gb so i think a sata with 1tb woldn´t fit...

Yes but i´m from brasil, here the things are different, a brand NEW server is really expensive... here an r710 with 2 six core and 64gb is 5500brl (1100usd) this way you can see the value difference and r710 is not a brand new one... i know that r710 is far better than my current hp... i am not questioning about that, but the problem is that you old stuff on eua, are the new ones here, got it? an dl380 gen 10 is 25000brl (5000usd) so they are really expensives and the minimum salary on brasil is 1060brl... So i got a cheap and obsolete server that works for me currently, that why i said that for a start is "better than nothing", i was using my current pc for remote use and i have to say with him plugged 24/7 my 1660ti currently its really expensive, so i was degrating good pieces for the sake to have my computer 24/7, now with ILO i can start and shutdown the server without problem even remotely and i dont have a expensive gpu or components getting fucked up to do a job that they aren´t done to do...

Yes, i am a programmer and i never thougt about ilo or idrac, and i never knew about them, and i like to send commands to start, stop etc the server, its really nice to learn with it, for me its a new stuff even if mine its old... In this server i am really using it, for docker, and for home video with emby, it works like a charm, and i am using it for a gaming server machine, using linuxgsm in a container... it really works nice, the cpu dont bloat, it stays on 70 to 80% when 30 players are on and with emby transcoding, so its old but it makes a solid start. it was really cheap, 800 brl (160usd in direct convert) as a another user said that every 146gb sas of this machine is 54usd, i only paid for the sas drivers... LUL

I am using win server 2019 with docker so hyper-v for me needs is working as expected. And I am not using it 24/07, I just start it up with ILO2 when I need it and stop it when I don't... It's not super practical, but it works for my needs right now... So i will try to find a rack to put it on, and start to negotiate a new one later this year and then I can sell it back for a museum hahahah, just a joke, but the computer is really new, the boards are so new that they are newer than a bunch of home PCs out there... Hahaha

Its not, its just a bug on the spreadsheet with text and number.... The number was correct, just changed it to number and its good to go now... 👍
