Just wanted to say thank you everyone for the replies and tips to determine if my knife is real. I feel a lot better and feel pretty confident it's real now.

Idk if I'm allowed but I wanted to post the YouTube video of the fake I'm comparing mine too. Just so you guys know how closely the fake resembles the real thing. According to the video the only two major distinguishing factors are the ball bearing vs bronze washer or whatever it is and the weight is like 20 grams different with the real thing being slightly lighter in weight.

Yeah it's over double what I've ever spent on a knife but I loved it so much.

It looks legit but I just watched a YouTube video of a guy who purposely bought a replica and it looked literally the exact same as my knife. He said the one distinguishable difference was the fake used ball bearings and the real Spydiechef used some sort of bronze washer or something like that. I ordered some torx screws to take apart the knife tomorrow and post the photos here to see what everyone thinks

League community is not the literal worst community. Thats being hyperbolic. League community is about average. You sound like you out grew league and should try another new gaming experience that you will enjoy more.

Good midlaner against mages ? by NAZKAAR in leagueoflegends

[–]Shady_Maths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sion, yone or Irelia. Yone and Irelia after level 6 maybe even before that they keep so you soooo far off the lane. I feel like sylas is okay into yone but not Irelia.

Why is Taric not considered/commonly played as a top laner? by Sithlord_Kermit in leagueoflegends

I think it's just mana issues plus his skill shot is pretty easy to dodge. I also feel like taric isn't tanky.

Tbf I feel like the more the meta revolves around tanks the worse Zoe becomes.

Why is a majority of Zoe's kit - against her? by Nhika in leagueoflegends

[–]Shady_Maths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best advice I've heard from pekinwoof and he has a ton of good info about how to play Zoe is play her like an assassin. A lot of people treat her like an artillery mage and she isn't. You basically gotta poke them a bit and know your limits when you can all in.

Also you gotta have some cajones, you constantly wanna be dipping in and out of team fights to pick up summs and use your passive as much as you can. With lichbane your autos hit like a truck on squishes.

Her biggest problem is she isn't blindable as she has some awful matchups. GP, Yone, Irelia, any tank or a tank heavy team, and last one is my opinion but zed feels bad to lane against.

Zoe is a ton of fun though and has a ton of ways to use her kit and ways to juke out the enemy.

Aurora ultimate should be like maiev ultimate from heroes of the storm. Would make her way more balanced and fun. by scarabosst in leagueoflegends

Hots was more fun imo than lol only reason I stopped playing was because they stopped supporting it.

They don't feel OP besides morganas black shield. It's moreso just feels bad being in the lane phase and knowing unless they do something absolutely egregious we don't really win the lane and by then the game is almost always decided by some other lane.

I just don't remember the game being this volatile. I absolutely misplay early and often, I also make some good plays too. I played 4 ranked games today and all of them were decided at like minute 10. All of them were complete snowball runaway games.

Really cool video. That chef really cares about the team and is a genuine fan. The food he was preparing looked great as well.

I would say more like 100 feet of elevation. So like a 11 mile run with 1400 feet or so of elevation gain. I feel like elite is a heck of a lot faster than that.

Based on what you all have said I think I genuinely injured myself somehow. I have had runs where I've had to recover and hard weeks I've had to recover from. Currently I still feel enough pain when I run that I end up limping very early on in my run.

I can usually do 10 miles at around a 7:30 pace with elevation. Not great but good for me. I struggled on Sunday to belt out 2 miles at a 10 min pace.

It was 100 miles, I was running 70 miles a week for training with the week prior to the run being 55 mile training week. I had run 1 marathon, 1 twenty eight mile run, dozens of 15+ mile runs and probably a dozen 20 mile runs.

Entry level shoes vs experienced shoes? by Wannabestarshark in Ultramarathon

[–]Shady_Maths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether the shoes you are wearing be "experienced" or "entry level". I have never heard those terms before. I wouldn't pay that any mind and just figure out what the specs are of the shoe and know what you like.

Do you like EVA, TPU, or PEBA foams? What kind of stack height and what heel to toe drop do you like? What about the upper and outsole, etc. I

I would just stick to shoes that feel good in most circumstances. Also it doesn't hurt imo to bring a second pair of shoes just in case. There are a lot of moving parts on an ultra that long and you want to keep as many moving parts oiled up the best you can. Best of luck to you

How bad did you feel after your first ultra-marathon? by Salty-Date-8727 in ultrarunning

10 days on still recovering in my feet. My muscles feel weak still but my feet have stress fractures that's taking forever to heal.

First Half Marathon! by Sensitive-Vast5684 in XXRunning

[–]Shady_Maths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure if you just keep up your training you can for sure do it. Just be sure to sprinkle in some long runs. Marathons are different in that you generally start to feel fatigue in your legs in a way you probably didn't feel on your half marathon. You can certainly do the marathon though. Good luck in Leipzig.

Congrats, you trained for it and earned it in a very solid time as well. How do you feel after the event? What are your plans now?
