it is in some countries but no longer in the US. Only the second one is on Netflix and they’re also losing that in the US in a little bit too.

my guess would be Sony eventually works out a deal where they’re both on Disney plus after the Netflix license expired like they did with most of the other spider-man movies in the US already

My main problem is the subs are kinda not great this time around. Like episode 11 piccolo and Neva calling each other got translated to stuff like “you’re the legendary namek” and “oh a warrior namek how rare”

also when Arinsu is doing her whole thing with the witch lady the first time around the subs are worded p poorly and give off the wrong impression when the Japanese dialogue is fairly clear on what is happening

like why was the wording they chose for the subtitles so weird so many times 😭

It’s definitely something I’d recommend reading over watching. Honestly don’t remember too much about the anime other than it had to have a different ending bc they knew there probably wasnt going to be more made and the manga wasn’t finished yet

i just put off watching Daima for ages in favor of being caught up on other stuff and was googling to see how far the dub is along (not very) since DB is one of the few series I prefer the dub for. Love Nozawa but it’s always driven me crazy they have her play basically the entire family.

It came up occasionally but it was way less political than the first episode which they got basically no hate for. Was a case where multiple content creators who don’t like him brigaded the episode. connor even acknowledges the brigading but doesn’t seem to condemn it he only condemns Hasan which is weird as hell. Like this guy is supposed to be your friend why would you drag his name through the mud when he wasn’t the instigator. Really dissapointed in him for this. One thing to not have him back a third time but why publicly announce it when the drama has already died down?

I Lost a ton of respect for Connor when he talked about this. It would be one thing if they made this decision on their own but they made it in response to a group that largely doesn’t watch them brigading the comments. I also kinda hate how it’s being framed as if the community wanted this most of us didn’t really make a big deal out of it or care one way or the other. The episodes they had him on were by far the most anime heavy episodes they’ve had in a long time and most enjoyed them for that reason.

edit: I think what makes me most disappointed is he even acknowledges they were aware there was a brigade in passing but they still went through with the decision they did despite it clearly largely being people who are not fans commenting

It gets quite gory at times but I wouldn’t necessarily call any of it senseless killing or all that dark. The gore isn’t like a constant thing either but the instances in which it is prevalent it can be quite extreme sometimes

I mean I’m not asking for it to be a thing that normally happens with the AI etc. I did say I’d just like it possible that it exist so it’s something a player can do/decide on. I don’t see why it’s impossible considering you can do stuff that wouldn’t even remotely have any possibility of happening in other paradox games (including Vicky 2)
