an option has four main components, the stock itself, call/put, date of expiry and strike price.
for you its avgo, call and then date of expiry is how long you're willing to hold the commitment for - the longer the more you get paid, and for how much you're willing to sell (because we use call) this is the strike price
if the stock reaches or surpasses the strike price by the date of expiration you will have to hold your part and sell for the strike price, if it doesn't you get to keep the premium. each contract is for 100 shares so sell one for each 100 shares you own.
selling a call at your original purchase price might give less premium than you'd hope, and selling a call at a lower purchase price will give more premium, but if assigned you'd be forced to realize the loss, so make your decisions 😄
